On arrival, the house was dirty, with cobwebs and a layer of dust/grime in the kitchen on the appliances and the oven was not clean. "We had an excellent stay in Fort Chambray. Our appartment was on the first floor with a lovely view of the swimmimg pools and the Mediterranean sea. The appartment was very clean and very well kitted out, we lacked nothing. The owner met us on arrival and was very welcoming and helpful."

"Villa was lovely, very clean with lots of quirky bits to it. Lots of winding steps to bedrooms so not good if you have mobility issues. Only downside was only a small amount of sun by pool (possibly because we went in September) it may be different in earlier months. Although lots of sun on upper terrace, it was nice to have an outdoor shower so easy to cool off. Unfortunately while we were there a lot of dog barking from nearby which was frustrating at times.
