"Excellent place for a holiday: country, castles and Vienna nearby. In summer a great swimmingpond and garden to relax in. As others have written: a bit dated inside the appartment; but all you need is there. Owner makes you feel very welcome; thanks Brigitta! "House is absolute lovely, even better than the pictures. The hosts were so thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed before and during the trip. The house is very generously stocked with essentials and grocery items, it really does feel a home from home. The view from the garden and sauna is wonderful - we went in the sauna almost every day, it was so peaceful! And the location was perfect for us to enjoy the outdoors and local wine - beautiful area, perfect for cycles, hikes and visiting...

"Hotel is on beautiful grounds. Room was lovely and clean. It was very nice to have a nice outdoor balcony. Durnstein and the Wachau Valley is absolutely stunning. We rented bikes from the hotel for our three days while at the hotel....it was fantastic exploring the area, the bike paths are great! Only complaint is that the rooms do not have air conditioning and the weather was very hot....had to keep the sliding door open and because there was no screen it waa hard to keep flies out. "

"An exceptionally nice hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. An attractive back terrace was a very pleasant spot for a carry in meal. The breakfast buffet offered unusual variety, very fresh and well prepared and presented. Many healthy choices including freshly prepared vegetable juices. "
