Azul Casa del Lago: Getaway to Possum Kingdom Lake on the Water

This waterfront home with dock is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, located close to the airport at Possum Kingdom Lake. This is a private home with a wood-burning fireplace, central air and heat, High-Speed WiFi, a screened-in porch, and fabulous views of the lake from the kitchen, living, and dining room.

Laminate wood planks cover all the floors. The Master Bedroom has a queen bed and full bath with a tub/shower combo. The guest bath has a step-in shower. The home has central heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, gas range, dishwasher, washer & dryer, side by side refrigerator. The living area has a smart flat-screen TV, DVD player, and stereo. Guest Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, and Guest Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and twin-size bunk bed.

A boat can be tied to the private dock with a sandy bottom great for water activities.
As of March 1, 2024, the lake is full.

Free option for access to Toy Shed with paddle boat, kayaks, bikes, and yard games. Toy Shed requires an additional agreement to be signed and returned prior to arrival.

GREAT GET AWAY STAY
If you are looking for a nice a peaceful place this is where you want to be ! Great view of the lake with a nice dock and plenty of games and activities to do from the toy shed.

Perfect Lake Getaway

Perfect location
We attended a local baseball tournament and this place was perfect for our stay. Great yard/dock set up for us to enjoy between games. Screened in patio was very nice to have so we could eat outside when we chose to. We would definitely book this place again!

This stay was so close to Rocker B Ranch and gave us a great place to escape the heat and enjoy the water. The boys caught enough fish off the deck to feed us for dinner our last night! It was a wonderful stay!

Midweek Family Getaway
We enjoyed our stay. The toy shed access made it the perfect low key, restful vacay with teens. I especially enjoyed the screened-in back porch for family meals and morning coffee. There was a generous supply of staples (toilet paper, paper towels, towels, detergents…).

We stayed here for a baseball tournament at Rocker B Ranch. Son enjoyed the tournament but his highlight was catching Giant Bass of the Pier. The house was even more amazing in person. Host was the best. Looking forward to staying here again!!!

Nice place on the lake.
The house was good, had almost everthing we needed, lots of things to use in the toy shed, the outside property was the best part. Floor was a little unsteady in places, and the air needed a little attention, but overall it was a good weekend getaway spot.

Lovely sunsets for sure!
Nice meeting up here with another couple from Amarillo, us from Austin - close to store, Boondock’s - water was down but we had a delightful time sitting in the water and also watching the sunset on the deck - the floats and chairs in the Toy Box were perfect! It was like staying at a friend’s house - enjoyed our reunion with family ~

Perfect Lake Weekend Getaway!
My husband I and enjoyed our stay very much. It's a perfect location, right on the lake and yet close to stores/restaurants. Loved the toy shed! We used the water bike in the evenings and watched the sunset from the lake :-) The view of the sunset is amazing! The house has everything you need and more. Very clean and well maintained. Loved it!

Wonderful Property!
We thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay. The first thing I noticed was how clean the property was. Very comfortable to stay in such a clean house! The location was perfect with the dock and plenty of water to splash around. We all loved the toy shed! The kayaks, inflatable’s, yard games. We loved it all! The hosts were very quick to respond to questions, and very clear with their answers. The location and view were spectacular. A great place to relax for a long weekend or even longer.

Really great option for anyone bringing a boat
The location is great for sunset views and smooth water in the late afternoon hours for wake surfing, tubing, etc. The screened in porch was great for being outside without worrying about any mosquitos. Boat ramp is very conveniently located and had no issues launching a 25ft surf boat. The area around the dock is all soft sand with no obstacles to worry about with the boat. The A/C in the house was loud during start up cycles but worked really well too keep the house comfortable throughout the night. I'm hopeful to find availability for this location again when we plan to come back to possum kingdom lake as it will be my first choice.

Location!Location!Location!
First of all the pics do not do this property justice due to its location! On top of the fact that it is extremely peaceful, t backyard area goes from gently sloping grass to a sandy beach like area to the lake, which has a shallow walk in entry! The firepit is awesome and allows for amazing views of sunset! The house has every amenity needed for a comfortable stay! The toy shed is loaded with everything you need to enjoy the lake! The owners did a great, very detailed job on the welcome book! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to possum kingdom lake!

Nice spot on the lake
The backyard is really nice for playing and the dock is great for fishing. The house is a double wide but has everything you need. Could have provided more towels, bedding, supplies, and dishes for larger families. AC worked good, plenty of hot water, master bed was okay. Overall the house was nice. The back porch was our favorite place especially mornings and evenings. Conveniently located near convenient stores and boat rental. We enjoyed the toy shed, kayaks, and especially the paddle boat.

What a delightful place to stay. The communication with the owners was flawless. The home is close to the pier, we all caught fish- plus 2 turtles. Air conditioning was adequate, ceiling fans helped a lot. And the toy box was wonderful. Some family took the paddle boat out and had a wonderful time. We would love to stay here again
