"Very cute hotel. In the perfect, central location to the many attractions in Florence. About 20 min walk from the train station. We have two kids so it was helpful to have everything within a 10-15min walk. We stayed in the suite—had 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and bathroom. Air conditioning was a huge benefit give the Florence temps in summer (over 90F). If we ever visit Florence again we’ll stay here again. "

"This apartment was modern and easy to access. There is a garden area that is quiet and private. The host was detailed with instructions and quick with responses. The apartment is located on the third floor and has 2 bedrooms up an additional staircase. If your party has difficulty with stair, it may not be a good fit. The only issue encountered was parking. "Hotel Calimala was a really cool hotel, very cool interior design, cool lobby bar, stylish neighborhood. We loved the room, although the bathroom was a little overwhelming with the tile and mirrors--that said it was a very nice bathroom. The location was convenient for walking to some of the main sites in Florence. The staff was very professional. The breakfast was excellent! My only complain is that the rooftop bar they advertise is not in this building. It's in a hotel around the corner. We did not know this until we went to the top floor in the elevator and only found more hotel rooms, the cleaning staff had to tell us that the rooftop was in another building. "
