Honeymoon
This was by far the most beautiful home away from home. With a history of the house and property similar to my own farm it was perfect beyond expectations. The warmth you feel when you are in the house with the fire on and having the moon shower its light over the valley, it takes your breath away. Overall, it was the best stay me and my husband ever.

Beautiful view
House was clean and well maintained and the view was beautiful. Not a bad drive to RMNP which is where we spent most of our time. We would definitely go back.

No issues. Would have loved to seen more wildlife but it was probably time of year. Will visit another time and see if we have better luck.

Beautiful home and spot!
The view of the mountains is spectacular! Property is secluded and we definitely recommend AWD for summer/fall months! The house is just beautiful and many necessary items are provided in the house. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and just relaxing! Hot tub is great! Everything was very easy during our stay as owners make sure to explain everything you need to know! Rocky Mt National Park is just a short distance away. We would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful!
This home is beautiful and the views are awesome! It has a very well equipped kitchen, it’s clean, and it’s quiet. Just the peaceful atmosphere we were looking for. One thing to be mindful of, when they say you need an AWD vehicle, they’re not kidding. And DO NOT attempt to find this house in the dark! But even with that said, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Incredible home base for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park
Wow. This is a true mountain home experience and we felt like guests of dear, generous friends staying here. Instructions are clear, the hosts are kind and very responsive. The house was honestly so lovely it made us regret not planning a day to just stay “home”! The views around the property are gorgeous, the furniture incredible, the beds dreamy and the kitchen very well stocked with anything you could needp. Our 2WD minivan made the drive up fine in summer, but would recommend anyone unfamiliar with the property to take your first trip up during day-light hours, and heed the information regarding winter access. Thank you to the Cox family for sharing your incredible home!

Awesome Secluded Property
I was looking for a secluded property with a nice view to be able to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This place did the trick. We were there in late May, just at the end of the rainy/muddy season. Before the trip we were emailed instructions on how to locate the property. We did take a wrong turn the first time getting there, but that was my fault for misreading the directions. Once we made it safely the first time, though, travel to and from the house was a breeze. I would advise that it was a little muddy and our AWD car made it up the mountain, but that time of year you may want to be safe and take 4WD with you. Also, the road up is very narrow and steep, so drive slowly and safely.Once we got to the cabin, we were pleasantly surprised by the feel. It is a little smaller than pictures make it seem. Despite that quaintness, it is roomy and comfortable. There is plenty of room to easily sleep 8 people and you can navigate the entire house without stepping on top of each other. We loved the rustic log cabin decor, but also got to take advantage of the modern amenities like the full kitchen, satellite tv, and streaming services. The house is well equipped with cooking equipment, spices, blankets, towels, and all the other basic necessities. The view was amazing. We spent a large amount of time on the deck taking in the sights and talking, and spent our fair share of time in the hot tub that overlooks the valley. The Continental Divide is clearly visible from the deck (and hot tub) and the environment as a whole is so peaceful. The surrounding property is on the side of a mountain, making exploration a little tougher, but the totality of the location is awesome. We had no problem running into the full grocery store by the entrance, grabbing supplies, then just spending a couple days in seclusion. We did spend one day outside of the cabin, and drove up to Grand Lake to enjoy hiking, lunch/ice cream, and shopping. While this was a great way to break up the trip and it was VERY easy to drive back and forth, the best time we spent was enjoying the privacy and seclusion of the property. It really is a hidden gem and is ideal for anyone wanting to spend a few days or weeks in peace and quiet, escaping the responsibilities of real life. As my wife put it, it's the best lodging we've ever had for an anniversary trip. My one regret is that I didn't book it for a longer stay, because 3 nights simply was not enough. Well done Cox family!!!!

Fall Foliage trip!
We throughly enjoyed our time here! The aspens leaves were at their peak when we arrived. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace and the firepit, but especially the gorgeous views from the deck. A fox came by one day and was a special bonus!

Serenity and Solitude!!
Get away from everyone. Beautiful place. Clean and well stocked. But in all the places we've been none have had this kind of privacy.

Secluded Mountain Top Home
This is my second stay at this two bedroom two bath home. It takes 15 minutes to drive up to it from the highway into Granby and is probably close to 9,000 feet but it is quiet and secluded. One evening I saw a pair of foxes in the yard. The best views are from the deck looking east and south towards Tabernash. The basement which is ground level has a shuffleboard table and is a room that I did not use. The main level has the kitchen, living area, a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom has no curtains so it can be a challenge to nap mid day. The bath is a tub/shower. The upper level has a king bed and shower. That bedroom has shades. There is a propane grill on the deck that is useful for grilling. Plenty of propane and it was clean. This is a good spot to get away to read or work, and if you enjoy steep hikes, to hike the gravel road going down the mountain.

Beautiful cabin-style home with amazing views
Had a fantastic stay at this lovely property. View is phenomenal whether sunny or cloudy. Have never seen a cabin-style home with more beautiful interior/exterior detail. And very comfortable furniture inside handcrafted by owner. Beds all have very nice mattresses and bedding. Surrounded by aspen and wildlife including a red fox who seems to be a regular visitor. Convenient to Lake Granby and Grand Lake, also to Winter Park to the south. On a gravel road that is narrow and windy near the top so AWD a must for access. There's a large, full-service supermarket where the access road meets the main highway, about a ten-minute drive down from the house. Highly recommended.

Beautiful stay in the mountains!
Our family absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain home in Granby! It was the perfect secluded base camp for exploring the Rockies! Plenty of space for my husband and I and our 3 boys. We enjoyed the hot tub, the views, the shuffle board, and all the comforts of home. We will keep our memories close of our adventures in this beautiful mountain home and would recommend to anyone that is heading that way!

This property couldn't be more perfect! BOOK NOW! We were lucky enough to visit while the aspens were changing... absolutely beautiful! The home is lovely and stocked with everything you need. We watched the sunrise every morning during our stay from the hot tub! UGH, TAKE ME BACK. Thank you, thank you! Communication was clear and friendly. We'd love to come back one day!

Simply wonderful!
The cabin was perfect in every way for our family. No complaints at all with the host, who is so kind, or the accommodations. We had everything we needed and more. The cleaning and other fees, though… Even with that, we will absolutely book another stay.

Well worth the long (850 mile) drive!
The house and property was everything that we were expecting and more. Loved the isolated location....so quiet and peaceful. We had never stayed in a log home before and was fascinated by the architecture and construction. Just getting the materials up there must have been a major challenge. Needless to say, the view was spectacular and especially nice in the late afternoon and evening when the sun was behind us, washing the mountains in different hues of orange and red just before sunset. We really hope we can stay there again in the future. The time went by way too fast!
