This gorgeous home is located in town and can certainly be a walk-able distance or a super quick drive to all local attractions in downtown Grand Lake! A great home perfect for a family vacationing and looking to soak up sunshine and small town fun right by the water! This house offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bottom floor hosts 2 queen bedrooms and a separate full bathroom. Large master suite upstairs with on suite master bathroom! Gorgeous new interior updates with a beautifully remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Beautiful hardwood floors with radiant floor heat and a cozy gas fireplace create a comforting feeling for those days needed to be spent inside. Updated kitchen with everything you need to cook up a family meal to enjoy around the table and bar area! You'll enjoy super easy lake access just a paddle away, right outside your back door via the small channel the home is directly located on. Gorgeous lake views and fun are sure to be enjoyed for everyone! Be sure to bring your paddle boards and kayaks and take advantage of lakeside living. Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made prior to 30 days of your arrival date for stays of 6 nights or less will incur a $50 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations of reservations of 7 nights or more, prior to 30 days before your arrival date incur a $200 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival date the entire amount is non-refundable for all reservations.

Winter Arrival:
Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refunds related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.

This property was perfect. Direct lake access from the back yard. Very clean and spacious. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Location was also close to downtown Grand Lake. Would definitely stay here again.

We took elderly parents and they loved sitting out in the red chairs enjoying all of nature’s creatures. Such a quiet and peaceful enjoyable rental.

Nice, but not what expected
This is a nice property. Very clean, well managed and all. My only complaint is the description lead me to believe this property was on the lake. It is not. It is on a small inlet to a boat harbor. I thought I was going to be in the lake.

Overall, if you want a log cabin vibe where you can put into the lake with your SUP right from your backyard, this is it. Our little family was so happy here! Thank you!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 loved this home! Proximity to town and the view and easy access of the lake can’t be beat. We were there in the off season but still enjoyed several mornings on the lake with our canoes (bundled up of course) and walks into town our kids. We enjoyed dinner and Sagebrush and cooking in the beautiful kitchen at home.The ladies at Grand Mountain were a joy to work with and suggested a wonderful hike for us well. Thank you for the lovely experience, we will certainly be back!

Good location close to town right near lake. If you are not in great shape or have injuries then would be tough to get a kayak or paddle board in water behind house. Most all things you need to cook with are available. Since there is no AC does get warm on upstairs bedroom, would recommend a window fan to cool it off. Would stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A very enjoyable visit to Grand Lake, Co when the season was winding down. The weather was beautiful & so was the water. The house does not look like the photos would convey, it is smaller and the angles of photography are clever. That said, I would stay there again. All the accommodations were nice and access to the water was 20 feet away. The direct view was across the channel at the small housing development but look to your left and the world opened up to spectacular lake views.A couple small things were irksome, The windows needed to be washed and the screen on the back of the house was useless/ripped out. I felt like for the money, these are things that should have been addressed.

Minor hiccups but a decent stay
The house was clean and big but some amenities weren't good enough. The location is good in a way that it is close to downtown but the way house is located by the water that the view is very obstructed and right across there are other houses. The check in process requires you to go to the downtown which is very close and get keys from there. And the checkout process is the same. I would have given 4 stars had the price been reasonable. so IMHO the property is decent but definitely not vaue for money.

All three beds were uncomfortable and the mattresses need replaced. There are no TVs in the rooms which was annoying. The refrigerator is not right and makes loud buzzing noises. One of the patio chairs was broken as well as the sliding door screen was torn. The pictures on your site shows a fire pit. There was no firepit and we looked forward to sitting by the pit in the evenings.

Screen was missing in one of the windows, would have loved to be able to open the window for the mountain breeze. 2. We bought a fan to help with air circulation. Would definitely recommend bringing a fan with you. 3. Please consider fixing the stairway going down to the water. We were kayaking and paddle boarding, it was difficult getting in and out of the water. The house is in a great location, close to the main drag and a lovely view of the water.

Reviewer Comments: The owner wants to charge premium prices and delivers a mediocre experience. The place smells, was dirty and provided limit toiletries. No fire pit or chiminea to enjoy outdoor patio at night when it gets cold. The management company was never in their office when we stopped in for questions or customer service. You have to haul your trash into town and drop off behind management building in locked dumpster. We enjoyed our time in town and on the lakes - so we would recommend the location just not this property or management company!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house fit our family of 5 perfectly. We loved waking up and looking out on the canal and Shadow Lake each morning. The house was well stocked and comfortable. We have 2 teen daughters and a 10 year old son. Our thought was that the girls would share a bed but in the end one of our daughters made the oversized couch her bed and it worked great. We loved walking into town for dinner at night and for coffee and breakfast at the bakery. We stopped at a Walmart in our way into town to get supplies. I wish we had been to the house 1st because they had plenty of coffee filter, laundry detergent and paper towels. Now they have even more. We loved staying on the quieter side of RMNP! Saw lots of wildlife when we would grab an ice cream and do evening drives into the park. The only tiny complaint I have is that the house did smell very musty and took a couple days to really air out. I’m sensitive to smells so that was something that probably wouldn’t bother most.

Not worth the price

The back yard is dirt, weeds, moss and goose droppings and some cheap walking stones.Fridge unstable, lightweight, was concerned it would topple over.No access to garage (requirement for a lakefront property where guests bring kayaks, etc.)No umbrella or awning on porch, if sunny can’t hang out outside.Broken faucet (reported it during stay but was never fixed), ripped porch screen, master bathroom door doesn’t latch Bare kitchen - the cabinets and drawers all lack knobs - very difficult to open.Updating a kitchen and two bathrooms is not enough to justify this price. Other than that the location is convenient to the water.

I understand things happen. But this was by far the worse stay in all my years of travel. What’s worse is the way the manager’s excuse was the owner will address the repairs after we move out and they come stay in a few weeks. 1-The back door will not lock causing a issue with leaving valuables and the security of my family. 2-Refrigerator is horrible. It makes a buzzing noise every 5 minutes making it hard to sleep. It randomly freezes the food in refrigerator and the freezer stops freezing and thaws everything but then freezes again. This was a complaint in other reviews. They knew it was an issue. 3- there was a large clump of hair on the bathroom floor at check in. 4- disgusting large clumps of black hair on the walls of shower upstairs. 5- I called in 1 and 2 Friday afternoon. I was told tge lock could be addressed that day but the manager needed approval on refrigerator. They promised a call back that day with update. Saturday I get a call one day late that nothing can be done as owner is not responding and will be next to stay in unit and may want to address these things themselves. I email the manager with these complaints and told them a partial refund is more than fair. We were unsafe and disgusted by the nasty unit. I own a property management and understand things happen.
