We loved our stay. Location was perfect. Accommodation was cozy with beautiful views. We were able to walk to all shops and restaurants within minutes. Located basically at trailhead of lighthouse and Artist Point. Beach is private in front of building with fire pit. We will be back!

This small cabin was perfect for 2 people on a weekend to Grand Marais. The location was great with everything in town being very walkable. No kitchen, just a microwave and mini fridge, but this was fine for a quick stay. Right on the shores of Lake Superior!

Everything was perfection! We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. The view is breathtaking and we were so close to everything. The getaway is beautiful and always meets every expectation - clean, cozy with all you need. The owners is very responsive and makes it so easy to have a fantastic time. This property is in a great location. I wasn't sure if I reserved to lower unit or the upper unit. I turned out we had the upper unit, which has a great view of the lake and beach. The main thing we didn't like in the room was no place to wash coffee cups other than in the bathroom sink. Other than that, it was very nice, and we would stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay for a long weekend.
We just finished a long weekend up in Grand Marais and this place was just perfect for the two of us. Right on Lake Superior with stellar views!! Also loved how close and convenient it was to down town…just steps from World’s Best Donuts. Property was clean & quiet. Looks just like the pictures. We will be back!

We really enjoyed this second-floor apartment on the beach. The downtown location was the best thing--all the shops, groceries, and restaurants were within a very short walking distance. The apartment was clean and comfy and quiet. We slept great. The view of the lake from the living room and balcony was perfect. No kitchen or tv though--if that matters. It didn't to us. The host was nice and is available, if needed. I would recommend this apartment if you don't need any bells and whistles, as it's pretty basic. We would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular, up close beach views in the heart of Grand Marais
I loved getting to experience how easy Grand Marais is to walk through from this location. Over ten restaurants and several other businesses are all within a 0.5 mile walk of this unit, most much closer. The weather didn't cooperate until the final day of my stay, but I never felt a draft inside even as 40+ mph winds were coming off the East Bay. Host was great. My bathtub started leaking through the ceiling downstairs (not part of the rental unit) but the host made the repairs while I was out without any inconvenience to me. If I were coming to Grand Marais by myself or with one other, this is where I would want to stay again.
