With a majority of blue-graded slopes, this ski resort is ideal for fine-tuning your technique and enjoying relaxed intermediate runs. Practice slides, tricks and aerial jumps on the exciting Grand Targhee terrain park. Convenient quad chairs and double chairs provide easy access to the slopes.
When you’re ready for a break, head to the village for a snack or a drink from one of the resort’s restaurants, cafés and stores. Luxurious slope-side or village lodgings offer a wide range of après-ski activities, including hot tubs, a heated outdoor saltwater pool and a gym. Rent a pair of snowshoes and explore the woods and backcountry, or take a ride on the all-terrain Snowcat and be delivered to untouched glades of fresh powder.
Grand Targhee Resort is located in Alta, Wyoming. Idaho Falls Airport is a 1.5-hour drive away, while Jackson Hole Airport is just over an hour’s drive away. Shuttle buses, taxis and rental cars can be booked at this airport. The resort’s lifts run between late November and late April.
