"Thank you!--Such a beautiful place! We were sold already when the gentle horses came up to us to let us pet them when we arrived but the whole experience was lovely for my husband, 4-year-old, 9-month-old and dog and I. "My sisters and I visited West Virginia in June. Communication was great from the owner and he even recommended hikes and places to eat. We loved the cabin and having a washer/dryer on site was an added bonus. Kitchen was basic equipped but worked for us. Loved the room darkening shades and beds were super comfy. Would recommend and definitely plan on visiting again "

"Property was as described, older cottage and clean. In a very quiet neighborhood up the road from the National Park Sandstone Visitors Center. There was quite a bit of train activity, up to 6 passes in the middle of the night. We knew about it from other reviews and it didn’t really bother us. We woke up and fell back asleep. "

"My partner and I (and our American Foxhound) stated here over Labor Day Weekend 2024. This location is PERFECT for any activities you might want to be doing in the New River Gorge National Park or in the surrounding towns. While we didn’t wind up cooking this time, the kitchen is well appointed with excellent cookware and good appliances. We are already planning to book this house for next Labor Day Weekend!"

"We found A's cottage to be comfortable, spotless, and conveniently located. It was very quiet during our long-weekend stay, even with the windows open at night! "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The fenced yard was perfect for our young goldendoodle. The house was clean, thoughtfully equipped and pleasant for a long weekend stay in Fayetteville WV. The house was as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable 5 night stay. The host was wonderful and quickly responded to my questions. We loved our time on the New River!"

"Stayed here to go rafting and hiking in the area. It’s about halfway between Hawk’s Nest and Babcock state parks both of which are very nice. There is a Piggly Wiggly grocery store on Rt. 60 a few miles west. The driveway is hard to find in the dark so use your GPS. "
