Wonderful Stay at Muskoka Charm
This review is coming a little late but when I read the previous review, I did not feel that it did the property justice.
First impressions was the spectacular view. As seen in the pictures, the cottage has lovely large windows that offer a gorgeous view of the lake. The cottage itself was immaculate and the owners even left a greeting package with yummy treats that the kids enjoyed. On the few days that it rained, in the cosy Muskoka Room, you felt as if you were outside as there are beautiful views from all sides. The location on the lake is also perfect. My family rented a boat and we had a lovely time exploring the lake. The hot tub is also an added bonus and the owners provide a testing kit to ensure the chlorine levels are where they should be at. We also had a lovely time roasting s'mores by the fire pit and gazing at the stars. A few minor reasons why I am not giving the cottage 5 stars is that the light on the stove was not working properly so it was very difficult to check the temperature that you were cooking at (we stayed last summer though so this might be fixed). The walk down to the dock is quite far which normally wouldn't be an issue but one of the members of my family has a sore hip so it was a bit of a challenge. Again, normally this wouldn't be an issue but something to consider if people have mobility issues. Other than those minor details, it was a lovely stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful cottage!
