Quiet Wooded Weekend with a lot of work
Pros: The house was clean, large, and remote. We had a quiet weekend relaxing in nature. The hot tub was great, beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked. Cons: -This property is run through a management company and there was dozens of hoops to jump through to rent the property - background checks, several contracts to sign, etc. Not necessarily a bad thing, more of a heads up - it was just a lot of work to make sure the place was rented. -Also - the check-in process was not easy. There are two gates into the property and only one of them has a key. There is absolutely no service in the area so when we drove up to one and there was no key - we had to drive into town to call the emergency line to be told in a condescending manner that "we told you GPS is unreliable; you're at the wrong gate". It was late and dark and even once we got through the correct gate, we missed the house at first since it's not well marked in the dark. -Finally, the wifi is very weak. We were not able to take Zoom calls and had to drive into town to sit at the coffee shop. No call service for hotspots either. All in all, I'd stay here again now I know, but would be unsure suggesting to others if they didn't have all the information. Side note to the owners - it would be great to have side tables and lamps. Side tables or a coffee table near the couch, and it would be nice to not always have to have the overhead lights on - especially in the bedrooms.

Nice House and Location, Poor Management
Pros: The house itself was nice and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub and grill worked well. The view and ambiance were just what we were looking for. Cons: -The property managers let me know before we arrived that we would not be able to contact them at all during our stay unless there was a "true emergency" or if we wanted to extend our stay. -The wifi only worked well enough to check email. Plan on being off the grid other than that as there is also no cell service. -The listing mentions a community pool but there wasn't any information on where to find it. We drove around for a while but didn't see it. -The bathroom water smells like sulfur. -We were told while on our way to the cabin that there was a significant hornet and wasp issue. I understand that is out of their control but we didn't have time to adjust plans. It also would have been nice to have some hornet spray at the house. -It's BYO dishwasher soap if you're staying for more than 2 days, which doesn't make a lot of sense for traveling.

Not really heaven. Nice house though
The communication regarding the check in process will be incomplete. Insist the owners or whatever 3rd party company handling the reservation gives you directions for both entry points to this development. It was disappointing they did not differentiate the 2 different gates. You will not get a response if you text. Had to email and response was late. The other issue was that on the last day, we woke up to have a older man sitting on one of the chairs on the deck. This is unacceptable and certainly reinforces the careless attitude of the owners of the property. Owners - keep working with reputable 3rd parties to rent your property so your renters can have a half way acceptable stay at your property.

Loved the location and quiet it provided
We found the stay to be quite pleasant. We did sweep chips and dirt up from under edge of couch, remove the old soap from the shower, reattach the freezer door handle that was loose (all very minor things I assume the owner would like to know about) The kitchen utensils were very well stocked, nice towels, sheets and memory foam beds Having a shelf or night stand by each bed would be a plus A door mat inside by the deck door would helpful in wet weather, it rained part of two of the days we were there. One would have saved a lot of tracks being wiped up on floor from wet shoes.... Over all we had a great time, found the home to be very pleasant, the location great, and far enough out to feel you were alone even though there were other properties not that far away. From the deck you could often see deer, hawks, songbirds and woodpeckers. The fire pit was nice and well stocked with wood, great for sitting around and roasting hot dogs etc. For the older folks among us I would suggest you add some type of step edge markers or better light- it is difficult to see the steps with the current outside lighting, especially if you are carrying anything into the house.

Great stay, quiet and relaxing with plenty of hills to hike
We had a wonderful week in the mountains. Weather was cooler than expected but the campfire was inviting each evening. House was set up perfectly for us. Nice and bright for watching the sunrise with our coffee on the deck or at the kitchen table. Beautiful setting. Peaceful and tranquil. Just what we had hoped for!
