"We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. Many hotels coming back up...

"Lovely cottage in fantastic location but could do with a few improvements. Boiler kept failing, usually when having a shower, tap in kitchen needs tightening as very loose and when toilets flushed, very loud vibrating noise throughout. Need to put bedside cabinets in all bedrooms. TV aerial needs putting on. Pub next door can be very noisy at night."

"Three generations met for a suprise 70h birthday. Chevalier Estate is ideal for this as each family group had their own space but we could get together in the magnificent Dragon Hall. The accomodations are exceptionally well thought out and equipped. "Less IKEA more Sophie Conran" as one daughter observed. The fittings, linens, rugs etc are all very high end and all the properties are spacious with lovely sitting areas and kitchens. The booking process and all communications with Lady Laura...

"Myself and my partner stayed here with our 1 year old for 2 nights for my birthday. The location is perfect if you want to park your car and not use it all weekend! There is either one space at the back of the property and you pay a deposit for a permit or there's a manned multi story car park just over the road. Everything you could want is in walking distance and there are plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants to chose from. The house itself is a cross 3 floors but very comfortable and ideal...

"The whole 'hotel' was not at all well kept. The decorating was shoddy to say the least. Whoever carried out the decorating is completely clueless - i could give many examples - all resulting in the actually cleanliness if the place coming into question. Not good at all. "

"First of all I don't think the pictures do the place justice - it's so lovely and so much space. There was 18 adults for a 2 night stay and we felt like we had plenty of space and everyone commented on how nice it was and how comfortable their stay was. The decor is lovely and fresh, the bathrooms are gorgeous, and beds comfy. Communication with hosts was great and prompt, check in easy and we had everything we needed. Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"Great home for a big family or friends group stay. House is was perfect size for 7 couples with fully furnished living room, dining room and kitchen. Host was excellent with his response times and accommodated all our needs. Location is very central and few nice pubs around the corner. I would recommend The Odd Fellows pub. Wish weather was better and we had another day of stay to enjoy the snooker table and hot tub too and outdoor area. "

"Love the quirky historic artefacts displayed around - suits the age of the property. Spacious and really clean room and bathroom, super comfortable bed. "Property is large with ample parking and couple of minites from centre which has plenty going on. Thebrooms are large also, although a little dated, the facilities downstairs have all been recently refurbished and look great. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was great. The only issue we had was when we were checking in, in which we had paid for an early check in, the reception desk was not manned, nobody came to assist for nearly 10 minutes and although we had paid for an early check in for 1pm we didnt get to the room until after 1.15pm, which wouldnt have been too much of an issue but when paying £20 for each room for 2 hours you dont expect to lose the first 15 minutes of this waiting at reception to get served and then waiting to see if housekeeping had the rooms ready. Other than that we had a great stay and would stay again but certainly not be requesting an early check in."

"I love the area surrounding the Prince Rupert! I have visited Shrewsbury many times but this was my first stay here. I highly recommend the Prince Rupert. You are welcomed warmly by the staff. The sherry was such a treat! It is clean, inviting, and wonderfully historic. I can't wait to visit again!"
