"Such a beautiful home, and so close to the main street and main attractions - less than 5 minutes walk from Bowes Museum. Carole made us feel very welcome, and her home is immaculate. Wonderful room, spacious bathroom and great breakfast too. Couldn't find a fault in the place and would happily stay there again next time we are in Barnard Castle. Carole was very happy to pass on local information as well."

"The room and the service was excellent. Fully stocked room and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and everything we needed was provided. Sharon provided everything we needed during the stay, and made us felt very welcome. There are only two rooms within the tea rooms which made it feel very personal staying. The tea room is located in a lovely village that has 3 pubs and has some really nice walks. We have even booked to return next year."
