"Friends gathered and all 4 of us enjoyed our time at this rental for a weekend. Clean, spacious, comfortable. There was only one slight down side, all conversation and the one movie we watched that weekend were disrupted by the sound of the furnace running. Had it not been cold outside, perhaps we wouldn't have noticed. We adapted and smiled whenever the heat would turn on. All else was a pleasure. "

"We have enjoyed staying at Back Pond Cottage several times, and it continues to provide a wonderful setting for our multi-generational family of ten to be together while enjoying the beauty of Green Lake. JoEllen's lovely home is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The great room with a cozy fireplace and the deck with firepit are great for group gathering, yet there are spaces for quiet moments or games as well. The home is furnished with anything you might need for an enjoyable stay....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming lake house. The location was walking distance to 3 family homes located on the same street so we could effortlessly go back and forth. The kitchen was equipped well, the appliances updated. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms very nice. Only very small negative - we could not find an ironing board and owner did not reply to our text (we did not try calling). Would love to book in the summer, if available. "

"This was the second time staying here in Green Lake and we loved it once again. Both times were in the winter so the town is very quiet, but we would love to come back during the summer months when the tourism season is in full-swing.
