"The property was unique. The bed in the main building was very comfortable. I didn't like the shower being in the bunkie and that there was no privacy when entering and exiting the shower. Unfortunately there were many mosquitoes so staying outside at night wasn't possible. The power went off during our stay and we could not find any candles so we drove out to get some. "

"A stunning location and really helpful host. We needed good wifi during the week to work remotely and there were no issues - xplorenet 100mb download and 5mb up worked well. No dropped connections. Property is dated and rustic and could use some upgrades and deep cleaning but it was perfectly functional for what we needed. The host was open to all our suggestions and we appreciated that."

"Spacious location for 3 couples, lots of supplies, bbq, great water pressure and steps to the water. Swimming preferred at the more known beaches. Kayaking was available and close to the water. Lots of cooking supplies, don't buy too many groceries before checking with the owner or the cabinets yourself. Recommend Cabot Beach or Thunder Cove beach about 40 minutes drive. Suzanne was super helpful with any issues like propane. Recommend a "what to do cheat sheet" for some directions. "

"A very beautiful, relaxing location. The cottage was fully equipped and so well stocked with everything we could imagine or ever need on a stay. "The property was very clean and easy to check in to. It has quite a spacious yard and lots of items were available to use (sand castle/ bucket/ shovel supplies for the beach, fold up chairs, booty board, and picnic supplies to mention a few) the nearby beaches were nice and not too crowded . We enjoyed the nearby Oyster Barn for some fresh seafood. "

"The cottage was just as described. Everything was clean, neat and tidy. The property was well kept. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The only thing we would add would be some hooks on the back of the bathroom doors and a handle on the inside of main bathroom. There were 4 of us in total and we had lots of room. The screened in porch was lovely for dining and sitting outside. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the fire. Thanks so much, "

"We enjoyed the peace and quiet after a busy day touring the Island. The Big Cottage is an older building with a cozy, rustic feel. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided. Just bring food and your personal belongings and you are set! The property is large, a long way from the road and very well maintained. Kids and dogs will love it!"

This beautiful farmhouse has an interesting history which is provided in a write up hanging on the wall. "When we arrived and walked in I knew I had found the perfect cottage for our trip to PEI. We loved the history of the home, the grounds and farm fields surrounding it, and of course the hot tub. We were able to do all things “Anne” and then some and this was a relaxing retreat to come back to. Owner was very kind and very responsive. We would highly recommend this place!"

"This amazing property defied all of our expectations! The location was magical--private in a meadow of wildflowers, yet only 10 minutes from town, the beach, and great dining. The house was clean and so comfortable for our week-long stay. The added games, DVDs and water sports equipment was perfect. Even the mosquitos accommodated and weren't very bothersome. Erika was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We're already talking about coming next summer for two weeks at Windy Dreas! ....
