Upon entering our room, we didn’t notice any smell, turned on the AC and left for dinner. Upon our return the room reeked of stale cigarette smoke from the dirty filter. We decided to leave instead of trying to attempt another room considering it was already late and that the source of the smell wouldn’t necessarily be immediately detectable. Let it be known that I myself am a smoker! But the stench of stale smoke is just not something I can endure overnight. I’m sure it would have been even worse for a non smoker. The pleasant staff is the reason for 3 stars otherwise I’d have rated lower. Checkin was pleasant and she was helpful and informative. Hotel located conveniently near plenty of dining options. Room and bathroom were clean in terms of surfaces and linens. No mold in the bathroom. Squeaky uncomfortable beds. I would only recommend this hotel if you are accustomed to being in places where they smoke indoors and need an affordable place to stay for one night.

I have stayed at this hotel several times while building my home in the area. I had always used Expedia for the booking. Never had I been asked to provide a 200.00 deposit because I used Expedia. This occasion, the hotel clerk asked that I provide 200.00 deposit with a different credit card because I booked through Expedia. The room was in descent condition except the bathroom, the bathroom ceiling was falling, the walls of the shower and toilet area was nasty. After walking outside, I noticed the second floor walkway ceiling is falling in. This hotel needs to be repaired, upgraded or closed.

The desk receptionist was friendly. The room was reasonably clean. That was the extent of the good. The furniture is dated and worn. There was a desk but no electrical outlet to plug anything in. There was also no light on or over the desk. There was no port to charge a mobile device. The light on the nightstand did not work.

The staff was nice but the facility need some more up cleaning. The pool looked like a mosquito trap and dirty. The room was really nice but there were burn marks in the sheets. The shower was nice. The hall way was really hot from the air conditioners running with no ventilation. It’s definitely a place I won’t stay again.
