"Lovely place to stay, friendly staff very accomodating, good food we had breakfast in the bistro awesome pancakes my husband had big breakfast. beautiful grounds and scenery. Feel like you’re on holidays, kids had a great time in the pool, there’s a big pool for older kids and smaller pool joined for toddlers. Really nice place for families to stay it’s quiet, beautiful gardens serene setting to relax and just be. Will come back here again! Very close to Hunter Valley gardens we came for the Christmas lights. "

"We spent 4 nights at Hermitage lodge in the Hunter valley. We had a duplex lodge with a full kitchen, living room, separate upstairs bedroom and bathroom, and balconies on both levels. Everything was immaculate. The location was perfect for visiting the vineyards and town of Cessnock. The lodge looked out over a small vineyard with a forested backdrop. I would definitely recommend Hermitage lodge as a place to stay in the Hunter valley."
