"I was both kept awake and woken by an intermittent jolting “whoosh” sound. NI have stayed at Oaks twice b4 & have experienced the same thing. The noise is hard to describe/define but I think it’s mechanical - maybe air conditioning or similar & if I were the owner, I would find a way to record one whole night to determine the cause. What a pity - I felt very tired and seedy going into a busy day. Thanks Dee"

"This property was perfect for us. The spring weather was great so the outdoor area was lovely, with plenty of sun, shade, chairs, tables, candles and an outdoor fire. The beds were comfy and the house is light and airy, but would be cosy in winter. It's well equipped with everything you could need, and even things you might need that you've forgotten to bring, like a hairdryer, shampoo, soap, make up remover. This was a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely be back."

"Upon arrival the property was tidy. The cabin was very cluttered and wasn’t inviting. The cottage is very well equipped although very cluttered. The main bedroom was very cramped with a large dresser taking up the space where suitcases could have been placed. There was random food left in the fridge. The bonus was the fireplace. Fire starters were available but no kindling. It took a bit to get the fire started but it worked well. Easy walk into the township. Many great places to eat. The food...

"Sweet tidy cottage. Beautiful garden. Ideal for a few days relaxing and catching up with friends. A short walk to shops and cafes. Very clean & tidy and fabulous comfy beds. Fabulous place to stay! "

"Yet again (3rd stay) we enjoyed the petit apartment and strolled easily to town centre for mid winter fun. The guest info drew us to a great eating spot where we ended up twice. Vicki tries to think of everything , with fab lil extras to add to the feeling of being treated specially."
