"This is a campground. We stayed in a mobile home. The mobile home was a bit grimy. They have a good restaurant, though. If you are coming in from the Via degli Dei, go around on the road. The gate on the Via degli Dei doesn’t let you in unless you call them and someone comes to open it. They do have a free shuttle to the train station. "

It was an excellent choice as we rented a car and it is much better than staying in Bologna because the parking is easier, the rooms are larger, the area is very quiet and plenty of excellent restaurants around.
