"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."

"It is a lovely hotel located outside the city. We especially enjoyed dinner in the restaurant where we had authentic German food. Our only concern was that it was hot outside and the room did not have air conditioning. We opened the windows and there was a beautiful breeze, but the flies kept coming in! "Very friendly staff and good location for a quiet few days on the coast. Quite basic hotel and rooms are OK. We had 3 beds in a separate bedroom but only 2 chairs in the lounge area. Breakfast is good with a nice variety of regular breakfast food. The restaurant is simple and prices fine. The real selling point is the location and the beach is only 5 minutes walk away, but the walk back to the hotel is steep. Overall for a couple of days it is fine. "
