"The staff was nice and accommodating. The bed was clean and comfortable but the bathroom not up to standard. The hotel is not close to the city center but easy to reach with the Strassenbahn if you don’t want to take your car. "

"The hotel is fine but the description clearly said there was a gym (with pictures) but instead they don’t. Quite disappointed as I booked there mainly for that reason."
"Simple and easy, well located - right next to one of Jena's main train stations (Jena West). Okay: There is a price to pay for this. A train passes nearby every now and then and it is noticeable. If you are looking for a five-star wellness countryside spa you clearly misunderstood the gist of this setup."
"The place is fine for a short stay. There is no service on Sundays or late in the evening, making it a bit odd to stay there then. They didn't bother cleaning the room as a result."
"Cute little hotel very near the center of town. Tiny parking lot, but if others park considerately it's enough room (a little challenging when people spread out and take up numerous spots). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Honestly, we were exhausted from just having arrived in Europe and then driving 4 hours, so we don't remember everything! I know we all slept well (enough for the first night after jet lag). I'd book the hotel again if in the area. "
"The staff went above and beyond for us during our stay! The hotel is incredibly historic and charming. I highly recommend adding the breakfast to your stay. Jena is an absolute gem of a city and we would love to stay here again!"
"The hotel is very lovely, with comfortable beds and a great breakfast. The hotel personnel is very friendly and forthcoming. All museums of interest are walkable, and so are wonderful restaurants. "
"I booked from the States. Quiet location, single room quite sufficient, great tourist info, wonderful breakfast bar, even for me with vegan needs, only a 10 minute walk from the old town and all the tourist attractions. I highly recommended and would return to this little hotel."
"Great hotel for a great price. Clean, modern, well equipped. Quadruple room was great for us and our two kids.
Would love to have parking better marked as well as signs at the back entrance. We arrived after dark and it was a bit uncomfortable driving around back of the building, but once we found our way it was just fine.
Would certainly stay here again!"

"Very nice stay, great location, nice breakfast, kind staff. Beds are a bit hard after my taste and breakfast in weekend could be for longer than 10 o clock."

"Quaint beautiful town near Buchenwald Concentration Camp Memorial. However, very strange not to have any materials about Buchenwald in their hotel lobby."

"Great experience, great hotel. However, business travellers were allowed to check-in before 3 when I was not. I was asked when checking in whether it was business or a personal stay"
