"My husband & I stayed at “L’Isola” for three months & loved every minute! The apartment is in a very clean, quiet building with private, locked parking lot. Apartment has a great kitchen, cute balcony, comfortable bed & good working A/C. The owners Fabrizio & Giusy were so kind, helpful & quick to respond to messages. "The newly renovated apartments were a delight, featuring new furniture and effective air conditioning in the bedrooms. We especially enjoyed the nice balcony. The grocery store nearby and close proximity to the Valley of the Temples made our stay convenient. Additionally, the enclosed parking enhanced our feeling of safety. "it was good except for noises from other guests as early as 5:50 AM! Some chose to talk over their phone outside their bedroom, outside our bedroom window loudly for an expended period of time."

"Stunning location. Lovely host and super helpful nephew - nothing was too much trouble. . Beach a short walk away - will give you a good work out though! Remote but drive away from shops in Siculiana and other remote beaches along the coast. We had the best time. Thank you."

"Everything was perfect. Only mosquitos were pain and very bad wifi connection and not reception at all. But in fact this might be taken as positive fact 😉 Path to the sea direct from the garden was steep but short. Most of the time we were almost alone on this beautiful beach with great acces to the water. I regreted not to take my paddleboard with me. Great conditions for SUP. Kids were playing for hours in this shalow water and sand. Supermarkets, restaurants are very near - aprox 10-15min....

"We chose this hotel for a quick one night stay to stab into Valley of the Temples park just 3 minutes away first thing in the morning, which we did. We found the room on the small side. The air conditioner seemed to run with odd intermittent noises. Our main issue was with the shower. First, the doors slid apart from the center on tracks as in a closet, but one door was so off-track, it was hanging on 1 of 4 rollers. I was able to get the top two back on track, but the bottom two needed tools. The second issue was the faucet handle was dead center on the long wall right where the showeree would stand--and it was a pullout handle, not a turn knob, not two or three knobs, a handle that juts into the action zone. Talking about thoughtless design, then add my gurthiness, it was an unpleasant dance in deed. I can't speak about all their rooms, but I would ask that they review this design flaw. Overall we slept well and we're able to accomplish our tourist objectives. I want to point out our wonderful experience eating dinner at Pizzeria Mythos Nella Valle--their food is tremendous and tasty. Great family run restaurant with high integrity. Five minutes walk from hotel. Nevermind the lower rating...their food is the real deal! "

Comfortable relaxing place with a great restaurant

"We loved our stay at Passo dei Briganti! It's about 8 minutes by car from the Valley of the Temples, and about 15 minutes to San Leone beach. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and had a nice assortment of savory items and pastries, but the real star is dinner. We ordered two amazing fish dishes, plus roasted vegetables from their garden and a salad of red and green tomatoes, and then when we saw a pesto white pizza among their pizza offerings, we had to get one of those, too. We couldn't finish it, so our waiter boxed it up for us and we ate it for lunch the next day on our way to Siracusa. The meal with a bottle of Sicilian chardonnay, a bottle of sparkling water and a pistachio tartuffo for dessert was 78 euros. Our room was spacious and clean, but the bed was a little on the firm side. It was a "queen" that was actually 2 narrow twins pushed together, and each side creaked differently under our weight. Despite this, I would come back here in a heartbeat and stay at least 2 nights to get more beach time, and a chance to see more of the town of Agrigento."
