"the exterior of this motel is doing it no favors. inside is darling! we waited a bit to get checked in as there was only one person at the front desk and a challenging guest in front of us. our room was perfect! very clean, charming, and totally functional (bed pillows kinda sucked though). our room was off the pool which looked fun. there are dining options and coffee but we did not partake. we were in joshua tree for a show at p&h. our room was reasonably priced and perfect for our needs. will be back, with pillows :)"

"We stayed with our dog for 5 nights. The stars were beautiful and the valley had far clear views. Secluded is correct, it was a very private location. The directions were clear to get to, and we arrived at midnight. The code we were given didn’t work but we quickly were able to contact the host and get another. The house was well equipped, there are many places to hang out, outside. The hanging swings, the lawn chairs by the fireplace, the patio, and the trailer with deck was a nice place to go in the afternoon. We didn’t use the cowboy pool because we should have swept out the red dust before we started and decided to stop filling it. The hot tub worked well. The only thing to be cautious of are the many cholla cactus around, the spines stick to your shoes then can track in the house. We got them stuck in our feet before realizing where they came from. Our dog got them in her paw and then her tongue when she tried to remove them. Be careful! The laundry room had a funny odd smell but you only spend a few minutes in there anyway. Kitchen could use more dishrags, mixing bowls, but I cook more than most people. Bed was comfortable, nice long table, comfortable couch. Limited storage for clothes and places to put stuff. Overall a beautiful property and we have lots of great memories. I would go back."

"Great stay near Joshua Tree. Sarah was helpful in working with us on check-in/out times. Much appreciated. Beautiful home with great views. There is a 0.2 mile dirt trail leading to the home that was a bit challenging to drive through since it was unpaved and quite rocky. Recommend a taller vehicle especially if you're packing a full car!"

"The house was beautiful! The only problem we encountered is that the driveway is very long and steep so you have to pull into the driveway to get to the house. Upon turning into the driveway, we severely damaged our front fender. There is a large sip/hoke at the street entrance to the driveway that couldn’t be seen since we arrived after 9PM. It tore a piece off my car and the whole trip we had trouble getting g in and out without scraping our car."

"This house was terrific! The house is very stylish and conveyed the perfect vibe for our friends visiting from outside California. It had plenty of bedrooms for all our guests and each room was well-appointed and comfortable. The linens and towels were high-quality and the beds comfortable. It is well-equipped with plenty of pool towels and yoga mats, as well as places to lounge by the pool or inside the house. The kitchen has good appliances and plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glassware, etc. The management company was VERY responsive. I didn't wait longer than 15 minutes for a reply to emails and phone calls/texts were answered immediately. You can't get better service than that. The views from the house are very nice. It is in a residential neighborhood, so you don't get the open feel of the desert as you do when staying in Joshua Tree, but you can see the lights of Yucca Valley and the hills in the distance. The house is conveniently located a short drive to the grocery store, etc. and only a 20-25 minute drive to the Joshua Tree Park entrance."
