Gala was a perfect escape! The property is gorgeous. Its a historic building that was constructed in 1902. I stayed in one of the smaller rooms for a few days. Since I was out most of the day, the size didn’t matter. The last two days of the trip, I decided to upgrade to one of the larger rooms. It was definitely worth it! Room 8 has french doors that open out into the pool area. The staff were attentive and pleasant. Everyone greets you and ensures you’re enjoying your stay. Very convenient that Hera Cafe is connected to the property and you can walk over in the morning for complementary breakfast and coffee. The property is located near a handful of restaurants and cafes. A 10-15 minute Uber ride and you’re in another neighborhood with more restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops. I would return.

Loved Gala Boutique!
Loved the friendly staff at the reception and cleaning lady, as well as the restaurant staff and the food was amazing too! The small terrace was an extra touch, the bed was very comfortable and bathtub was beautiful and the water was hot and had good pressure. And the neighborhood was quiet and had great restaurants within walking distance.

We had an amazing time! Everyone was so friendly and so helpful. Shout out to Hugo for helping us to upgrade our room and helping us to book massages and a facial.
