Bright, quiet, private, beautiful, with some caveats.
Be sure to call the guest service phone numbers from a place with cellphone signal BEFORE you get to the guest house because if the door code doesn‘t work you‘ll have to drive a few miles to find a cell signal. It happened to us both days. We were finally given the code to the key lock box outside the door. Put it back immediately upon opening the door because it automatically locks and you may find yourself locked out.
We had a good time in the Redwood Suite. Beautiful, quiet, comfortable. Well tended, clean, with local art. Beautiful surrounding with well kept tall redwoods, a little creek and pond below the house. Hot Tub is working. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. Be sure to read the guest instructions. It gives you a local phone number for help with the unit. Upon entering we pulled an air freshener out of the outlet and kept it outside because the smell was overwhelming. Other reviews stated that the walls between bedrooms are very thin so we slept on the king size pull out sofa bed. Mattress was surprisingly comfortable. Kitchen is stocked well. Fridge with ample freezer space and most of what’s needed to cook a meal. Bring your own oil and spices and coffee filters for small coffeemaker basket filter. Wifi works with the plug-in extender. Two small, pretty bathrooms with shower. Both tanks leaked and refilled every few minutes, the noise kept me awake for quite a while. None of the caveats would keep me from renting the suite again.
