"Our stay was ok, we paid a lot more than the other hostels but don't feel like we got anything more for the value. It's a nice hostel, dude to the rain we couldn't use the pool. The breakfast area stank of booze in the morning which was quite off putting. "

"It's a gorgeous property and the staff is AMAZING. Property is always getting updated and the owners care about the local people as well as tourists. There can be issues with electricity/water with passing storms, etc., but this is not specific to Oasis. One has to remember that it's a different country, so roll with it and enjoy the scenery!"

"I've been travelling in hostals since 35 years. I have never seen so dirty rooms. The place is great, but I felt really not comfortable, and I moved out from hostal as soon as I was able to do. The patio is great, the peole nice, but the rooms have to be redone totally. It's definitly awfull. And I'm not talking about the bathrooms."

"The hostel is located right at the base of Santa Cruz which made it super easy to grab the lanchas. My friend and I stayed in a private suite which was really nice and cozy. The grounds of the hostel itself are stunning and so relaxing! They host family-style dinner's every night which was so wholesome and was a great way to meet new people. The only cons I will say is that there's only wifi in the common spaces, and wifi doesn't reach the rooms. Other than that, I loved my stay! "

"It was great in the begining, they offer unlimited coffee (bad quality but unlimited). And they are very friendly. When paying time came, they took almost twice the price of my reservation and they didn't even give me any receipt. "

"The hostel is in a great location and it's very cute. The people who work there are nice and helpful. It's very nice they have someone there 24/7. I got a single room with private bathroom and my room was right next to the stairway. I was lucky because I had a meshed window in addition to the two small windows on the door, but the room still gets very stuffy because of lack of airflow. There is a fan but even at low it's very strong and blows directly at the bed, it would be hard to sleep like...

"Special mention to the front desk person Sandy. She really helped me out with flight changes, went above and beyond. The room was nice, sharing one bathroom with 6 people it was quite dirty but once the cleaners came through it was fine. great location and if you aren't there in the morning for breakfast they make a sandwich for you to take with you. "I HIGHLY recommend this hostal if you're staying in Antigua. The beds are so comfortable and they each come with their own fan, light and outlet. The facilities and common area were kept pretty clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I loved that it's like a family environment. They plan activities like movie nights and there are often people playing games in the evening. So you can choose to keep to yourself or socialize. And the food is some of the best food I've had at a hostal so...
