"The property was well located with easy and good access to Aramante the Douro valley and Porto. The garden and house are secluded and the surrounding area of vineyards was very quiet and peaceful. The house was really well equipped and very nice with lots of hot water and towels for the pool. We enjoyed walking around the area and into Aramante along the new footpath next to the river. We had a really relaxing stay and would throughly recommend the house to people. "

"The house is located in a nice, quiet, neighborhood on a narrow cobblestone street. We spent most of our time on the patio which is beautifully landscaped with succulents and flowering plants. João, the host, was very quick to respond to any questions we had. You definitely need a car to get around. If you want a quiet getaway this is the place!"

"The place was amazing. Checking in, we were late due to missed train and the accommodated well. Great location. Day before we got email saying check out was 9. Site and king had at 11 so had to email back that it was 11 (we had early plans). They did not bother us and we stayed until 11."

"The place is very large and has room for many guests but it is very cold, there is no central heating, just electric ones plugged randomly and a gas heater in the living room. This resulted in the house being humid."
