"We stayed for 3 nights to explore the area in and around Bordeaux. The cabin/chalet was exactly as described. It is in the lovely back garden of a home in a suburb of Bordeaux. We were very comfortable after a busy day of site seeing and travelling about. There isn't much around it to walk to for dining, so we bought food on our way back at the end of day to eat in."

"The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. "The place is superb - really homely and well furnished. We were there for a nearby wedding but is the perfect base to explore the wider area. We drove across to Saint Emilion for the day which was great. Le Pessaquai Restaurant is a great local option for dinner.
