"We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. Having said that it was a very reasonable price and the complex itself has the most wonderful gardens and pool area. Again the communal furniture dotted around the gardens is...

"Just feel obligated to describe, so nobody could be fooled in future. I stayed only one night. There was construction/ renovation around the area, banging during the day and the traffic noise at night was unbearable, Apartment was very old and dark, nothing updated. Few rooms, but all was dirty, no air conditioning , apartment is totally unfit for living. No hot water either! The whole experience was horrible! I had to find another place and move!"

"Wir haben im Oktober einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist, was aufgrund der Lage in 270 m Höhe gut war. Anlage war sehr schön, weitläufig und sauber. Insgesamt sind ca 15 Zimmer/Wohnungen da, ein schöner Pool, der bei voller Anlage für alle ausreicht, wenn man auch an den Strand geht. Convenient to absolutely everything including the train to other destinations. We made this quaint two bedroom apartment our home base for three weeks and we traveled from there around Calabria and to Sicily. Bernardo was always available when we needed him and he speaks perfect English which can really come in handly"

"What an amazing place this is. We had a week with the four of us in the apartment and loved every second. The apartment itself is fairly small but absolutely fine for two adults and two boys on the sofa bed. Kitchen had a gas hob, microwave and toaster for cooking along with a large fridge / freezer. Troppa confusione di notte a tutte le ore tanto che non si riusciva a dormire. Niente TV. Moka senza manico. Scomodo per arrivare in spiaggia. Mare pulito solo al mattino. "It is a great place to stay first off they are pet friendly and it was clean all employees were nice and helpful. and when we arrived at the train station there were no Taxi and I could get no help from the train personal are the police he refused to help me. So I called Motel and they got me a taxi in 5 minutes. And the drive was great.and then found out they had a restaurant made thing so better and easier. Love the Place. For a great to stay book them you will love every minute. "

"This place is simply incredible! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and were so impressed with the hotel and incredible views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The resort was clean and safe, the beds very comfortable and the staff always friendly and helpful. The terrace is absolutely pristine and we felt like we had it all to ourselves at times during our October visit. The historic old town centre with plenty of restaurants and shopping is a short 7-8 minute walk away. Check out the Santuario Santa Maria dell'Isola and the beautiful sand beaches surrounding it. Shout out to Selena, Pawel the bartender and all the staff for making this trip such a memorable experience. This place will not dissapoint you and we look forward to coming back to Tropea and staying at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in the near future."
