Sunsets and Relaxation await - Spot of Sun Bay Cottage

Restored tiny bay cottage with lots of character, amazing views, sunsets, and all of the comforts of home. Located on a quiet, wooded lot on a private road. 1 private bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite full bathroom. There is also a full size pull out sleeper sofa in the living room. Enjoy morning coffee or an evening meal on the private covered porch with some of the best bay views around. Bring your cast net or fishing rods to use on the private pier. Beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops and all stainless appliances - equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve a meal. Public beach/Gulf access about a mile away. Several popular restaurants minutes away as well as Kiva Dunes Golf Course. Still in driving distance to all of the main Gulf Shores attractions - 15-20 minutes away.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 2 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include free WiFi, smart tv, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck with table, private pier.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap in bathroom.

Beautiful Bay View
Very clean and beautiful views from the home. The pier is nice to walkout on at sunrise and sunset. The only complaint is the arrangements. The bed and the sofa sleeper are not comfortable at all. We bought new pillows to try to help, but still did not help. Would recommend bringing an air mattress for a queen size and use it in the bed. The shower is great and a big plus to have all the hot water you would need. Jessie’s on the bay is just up the road and would highly recommend checking it out.

no security lighting. Poor driveway access
The motion detector at front door not working. There are no security lights in parking area, making it difficult to navigate out of driveway, especially with larger vehicle. Nice area to park, just needs trees and bushes trimmed back a little.

Very nice, clean and comfortable. Just right for a couple. We fished, enjoyed the sunsets from the pier and had a great vaca. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was great. Kitchen was set up really nice. We loved the back deck.

Beach House Paradise
We have been coming back to this beach house for the past 5 years and absolutely love it. Great fishing and crabbing. Very ptivate. The pier is an extra bonus. Above all the owner is so easy to communicate with.

Loved this property! Very clean, comfortable bed, awesome private covered back deck with private pier. Visited Fort Morgan, took ferry to Dauphin Island for the day, and close to Gulf Shores. Some of our favorite restaurants nearby were Sassy Bass and Tacky Jacks. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful view and loved watching my son fish on the pier. We would definitely stay here again, but will bring some extra sleeping arrangements since mattress on couch is very thin. Overall, it was exactly what we needed and wish we could have stayed longer. Host was very helpful and responsive.

Anniversary Weekend
The house was a perfect size for just the two of us. It was cozy and equipped with everything we needed. My husband loved the long, private pier to fish off of and made friends with a herring that he fed small fish to. There were several restaurants and pizza places close by and also a very well stocked Dollar General. We will definitely be back.

Fishing from the Dock
Property is small but just right for my husband and myself. Enjoyed our 6 days - we would come back. Enjoyed fishing and sitting on deck enjoying the dolphins and birds. Did see 2 alligators in the morning along the dock. The downside there is very little closet and storage space - so don’t bring many clothes - only 1 closet to hang clothes and no chest of drawers to store clothes. Outside dining area needs a fan - can get rather hot and steamy. Enjoyed our time and enjoyed and sunrises and sunsets.
