This is a beachfront retreat with a small private balcony, incredible views of the emerald water, and unbeatable community amenities including an indoor pool, sauna, six outdoor pools, two outdoor hot tubs, and one indoor hot tub

This corner condo is on the eighth floor of Plantation Dunes at Gulf Shores Plantation, a lovely beachfront community on the Fort Morgan Peninsula. It's just a few steps from the sugar-sand beach (with seasonal beach service), multiple outdoor pools, an indoor saltwater pool, tennis courts, a fitness room, a sauna, and a picnic area with a shared gas grill. You'll also enjoy easy access to the gorgeous fairways at Kiva Dunes Golf Course.

Second time I’ve stayed in this same condo and we loved it!! We are trying a different condo in a few weeks but only due to date availability and pricing. Will likely be returning to this one again in the future though! Highly recommend!!

We love this condo!
We have stayed at this property before and this is our favorite condo! The beach view is very important to us. This one is right on the front of the building so the view is amazing! It is a studio and there were 2 of us so the size was just right. We will definitely stay here again!

Great little place with a beautiful view!
We had a wonderful stay! The place is beautiful and has such a beautiful view of the beach/gulf. We used the pool and the hot tub - so relaxing! The only “snag” we had (and it wasn’t really a major snag…it was more of an unclear bit of information) was getting there to find out a parking permit for two days was $35. It’s not a crazy amount but I just wasn’t completely prepared for it. I’m not sure if the cost for parking changes seasonally or something, but it might be a good idea to list the price range for a parking permit. Overall, we loved our stay and would love to visit again sometime!

Nice place, great view!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are amazing. The room was a little smaller than I had it pictured but fine for just the two of us. This room is the farthest from the elevator (~125 steps) but not too bad. The beach is beautiful. I would highly recommend for a couple.

Great beach rental
This rental is exactly as described. It is small but fine for 2 people. The beach view and access to the beach were wonderful. We had a great experience. The only thing I would say was lacking was closet space, but that is completely manageable. I would have also liked the stocking of trash bags and toilet paper to have been a little more plentiful (1 trash bag & 2 rolls of tp for 5 days), however that is a very minor issue. Overall a great experience!

Wonderful little condo just right for a couple. Elder couple might find walk to room from elevator a little too far (over 150 steps of walking). Otherwise it was clean, Has a nice pool and great beach chairs and umbrella services!

This was a wonderful day trip for us. With it being early March we knew it would be too cool for much beach activity-but the view was so beautiful. It’s an older building, but they have done good with updates. The owner of this unit has really done a great job in its renovation. The bed wasn’t wonderful, but it wasn’t horrible as many reviews stated. The staff at The Sassy Bass restaurant was a little less than friendly, but was very easy access for a quick bite. We would definitely stay again.

Great quick getaway!
This place was perfect for a weekend away! We loved the building and that there was a great restaurant on site and another right next door at Kiva Dunes! The porch may be small but we loved how we weren’t in the sun and still had a great breeze! Would definitely come back!

My husband and I wanted a getaway before our first baby was born. We love Ft. Morgan! Description was very accurate. We didn’t need much space since there was just two of us, so it was perfect! There were lots of towels, bath cloths, and hand towels which was great, so we never had to wash any during our stay. We didn’t find a pizza cutter while we were there, but we were able to use a knife that worked fine. This condo is on the top 8th floor at the end of a very long hallway which was not too bad. Just a note for others because we got a little confused, lol All of the floors start with 5, so if your room # is 5801, you’re on the 8th floor. There is Sassy Bass restaurant connected to the back of the condo beside the pool and we were able to come in from the rain on the beach one day for lunch and ate while we waited it out. The boardwalk to get out to the beach was a little lengthy, but not too bad. Just wanted to give people some things we are Glad to know before we go back next time. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will probably be back! ☺️

Fantastic view but very windy at this time of year
This property is right on the beach, and the view is fantastic! That being said, I think anyone who stays in this particular unit should know that it is on the 8th (top) floor at the end of a very loong hallway, which made for some difficulty loading and unloading even with luggage carts available. It was also very windy on the beach which made it especially windy on the 8th floor! Other than that, it was a great stay. I just wish the indoor hot tub had been available. It was closed due to repairs. It was so convenient having the Sassy Bass right on the property, and the food was very good. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
