"The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. There is a sandpit and a wooden lookout that are not pictured, but were a lovely surprise. The house was spotlessly...

One bedroom off by the pool, for better or worse. Riberac is a quiet but nice town, and the house is near the river, across from a small village with a friendly cafe - closed for part of August. The outdoor area was equally if not better than the house itself and the pool was lovely. The fact it was slightly heated made it all the more better. "We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....

"The hotel staff was friendly and our room was clean and spacious enough for a family of 4. The hotel is close to some restaurants, but there is no place to walk nearby the hotel. The breakfast for €8.00 was very basic, no fresh fruit and no eggs but decent coffee. "

Fantastic place to stay

"The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market.
