"We were heading home from a 2 week vacation. We reserved a kingsize room and arrived around 1030pm. The room was super clean and had many amenities. The bed was so comfortable and pillows so soft, we had the best night's sleep in 2 weeks. Also the shower was fantastic and had great water pressure. I would definitely recommend staying at thia hotel."

"We basically just slept here. The room was comfortable and clean. The room had a bit of a musty smell as the a/c wasn’t on. I would suggest running the dehumidifier consistently to improve that. The sink was a pedestal type with no shelf space at all. The sheets were good quality and the beds had 2 covers. "

"This home was a perfect place for our Ladies Weekend and we enjoyed it very much. Very well appointed and decorated. Loved the wrap around porch and we used it every day! "Just lost my wife to cancer and the family decided on a nice getaway. Mother in law ended up finding this place and I’m glad she did. The hospitality was amazing and the kids had a blast at the property especially the indoor pool. Everything we needed for a nice getaway was there and more as the property owner was always in contact and making sure we had what we needed at all times."

"This house was perfect for our family gathering in my wife’s hometown. Plenty of room for the 8 of us to sleep, and a large dining/living room area for a family meal and space to visit. The beds were comfortable. 2 grandsons claimed the room in the basement with a couch and loveseat. This will definitely be top of our list again if we have another family gathering here. Large smart TV in the main room. Smaller TV in some of the bedrooms. Nice book collection, and some DVD’s."

"I grew up in a small town not far from this beautiful rental in Adel. Right off of a main highway but secluded by country surroundings. Super clean and great furnishings. My Iowa classmates meet each year and this is our favorite place to stay. You can’t ask for nicer owners or better facilities. A 10+ all the way. We will be back next year!"

"We had a great experience with our family! The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The owners were incredibly responsive during the whole process. The house was exactly as described. We stayed for a week with our family and the house is perfect as it has a couple larger gathering areas indoors as well as outdoors."

"We stayed because property is between IA State Fair, and our extended family in Minburn. Kids/Grandkids came down from Twin Cities and we from Chicago. Adel is a nice town and property is convenient in a nice neighborhood. Home is large and comfortable, property from 1930's? All appliances and kitchen and beds were in good shape. (Appreciated the A/C)! We had to work out some issues with the owner, but she responded quickly and appropriately. We all had a great time."

"We booked this property for a nearby family reunion. Everything was as pictured and completely met my expectations. Other family members booked 2 other VRBOs in the Adel area and ours was by far the best. The host was completely responsive and helpful. Should I need to accommodate this many people again in Adel, I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. Thank you Ian for hosting us."

"Our group of seven plus three dogs stayed in the farmhouse for a week during the summer and were very comfortable there! The house is large and very private, and we wish that it had been cooler weather so that we could have enjoyed a fire in the inside fireplace. We did somewhat miss having a dishwasher, but we survived!
