"Staying at the Hanok Inn is not just a matter of accommodation, but a whole experience. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and manages to combine modern comfort with the gorgeous traditional architecture. The owners are the loveliest people you can imagine, and they'll take great care of you and offer you helpful advice to help you make the most of your stay in Gyeongju. I really miss their delicious bibimbap for breakfast, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else if I return to that...
"Very clean hotel, think it's quite new. Easy parking, easy walk to historical sites. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate. Laundry room available for only 2000 won. It's not the prettiest of neighborhoods but all in all was very happy to stay."

Wiyeonjae Hanok Stay
5/5 Excellent
"This place was in a great location and very walkable. It was clean and while a but sparse, had nice amenities, an amazing shower (the heater was a treat!), and to my partner's delight, Netflix. The owner is lovely and the room was ready even we arrived a little early. While a light breakfast is available, if you want something more substantial, Gyeongju is very accessible from this location with plenty of options. Like most places we stayed in Korea, the towels were small but surprisingly absorbent. Overall, wonderful stay."

"Vey well located hanok hotel in Gyeongju to visit the different landmarks. The room was comfortable and clean. We received new bath towels and water bottle in the morning (2 night stay)."

"Kolon Hotel was remodeled in 2023, so the beds and facilities (air conditioning, bathroom, amenities, etc.) were excellent.
However, perhaps because it was only a renovation, the window frames are still a bit outdated.
There weren’t any major downsides, but it wasn’t perfect either.
It offers great value for money, and the breakfast in particular was outstanding and delicious.
What I liked the most was the Time After Time exhibition. If you’re Korean, I highly recommend getting tickets.
The program was great, the facilities were well maintained, and there was a lot to see.
Both the kids and the whole family were very satisfied."
"I booked this hotel at the last minute and without any research. It exceeded my expectations for the price and the service by the hotel staff was excellent. Great views and peaceful to be away from the downtown area. Highly recommend!"

"I had a suite for a day. Rooms were clean, and the view was excellent.
However, I cannot recommend this place to non-Koreans as there are very limited choices for activities and restaurants. All the restaurants are seafood places. Mostly sushi places, if you enjoy sushi, this place would be a great choice. We had live fish sushi for about 40,000 won per person, and it was excellent."
"Very clean hotel, think it's quite new. Easy parking, easy walk to historical sites. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate. Laundry room available for only 2000 won. It's not the prettiest of neighborhoods but all in all was very happy to stay."
