Gythio is a fantastic town. It's underrated. Not busy and heaps of places to eat and have a coffee. Lots of places to see are driving distance for day trips.

"It started badly. It took 4 attempts to get check in details via 3 different people. Then, when we arrived at the admittedly charming location, things unravelled further. the very first thing that hit us was a fusty smell of neglect as we opened the door.
