"We had the presidential suite for 6 nights, what an amazing room. Everything was very clean, tidy and the bed was so comfortable. The pool on the patio was huge with amazing jets and was very warm, even in March when the weather was 14 degrees outside. Breakfast was well catered with a choice of eggs you could order separately, and all food was refilled within moments. The staff were helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. "Nice, clean, comfortable apartment in the centre of Gzira, with balcony that receives afternoon sun. Property provided everything we required for a long weekend stay. 5 min walk from the bars and restaurants of Sliema and 10 mins to the Valletta ferry. Easy self check-in with instructions received on the day before arrival. On street parking is available, we were lucky on the occasions we arrived to be able to park within 100m or so, on adjoining streets."

Used the roof terrace and the pool-lido area opposite, both of which were great. Convenient to be able to leave our luggage in the luggage room on the last day. "The apartment building was fairly close by the Hotel reception and easily found. Unfortunately, the lock of the building front door was damaged and couldn't close, so anyone could enter the building at anytime. I've reported this at the reception, so hopefully this will be repaired soon. The 5 person apartment itself was fairly spacious and well cleaned. "We had a wonderful two night stay at the Xara Palace. We were offered an upgrade (paid for) the the Presidential Suite on arrival - it was 100% worth it. The space was fabulous, wonderful bathroom and lounge area. The hotel has a private, secluded feel. The pool (5mins drive) is extremely relaxing, wonderful service from Noor and Izor who drove us there each day. Would recommend a drink on the terrace if possible, the champagne trolley is fantastic.
