"This is my favorite hotel in Koh Phangan! The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions you have about the island. The atmosphere is very cool & chilled plus There is a private beach right at the hotel. Also the food is absolutely delicious & and a great spot to do a little work in the morning. The sea slightly too warm for me and the was reflected in algae in the water in some places but this is a shallow reef so to be expected. "Our private pool and good bathroom leading to large outdoor shower made it very inviting. Definitely worth paying the little bit extra for. Far enough from the main road to be nice and quiet, super beach and walking distance to the ferry pier. Amazing hotel

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Melia Samui. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous and the service was exceptional. We stayed in a Club Level Room and it was certainly worth the upgrade. The rooms were fantastic, great size and very comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms were on the ground floor so they had direct access to the wrap around pool that goes around the hotel. Great for an afternoon swim. We have to thank the staff at The Level as they really made our holiday special. They were all so lovely and welcoming, we didn't want to leave. Special shout outs go to Maya and her lovely team, Auong, Sky, Mamai, Dew, Keng, Queen, Seen and Lisa. They all looked after us at The Level. The breakfast at The Level was perfect, there was a lot of choice and was part ala carte. We tried the breakfast at the normal breakfast area which was also great but it felt more relaxing and special at The Level. The evening cocktails and canapes were also a bonus. We had great weather the whole time we were there so the sea was beautiful. The bay itself is beautiful although I thought it was a bit too crowded. Another special mention goes to Bauw who looked after us on the beach or around the pool. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"The Hotel and food were great. Our ocean front one bedroom villa was outstanding with its own plunge pool. Worth the extra expense. Also the Thai Massage at the spa was outstanding. We highly recommend it. The beach fire walker show was very well done. Great place to catch some rest and downtime after travelling several destinations in Thailand. "

"Really great and lovely beach front resort/hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. The beach is quiet with plenty of loungers. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and were always smiling. We stayed in the Grand Deluxe Bungalow rooms at the bottom of the resort by the beach, and these rooms were a great location next to the beach, pool, bar and breakfast. The hotel is on a hill but the staff were more than happy to collect you in a golf buggy to go up to reception to exit the hotel, so you don’t have to walk it. Would recommend and return to this resort in the future."
