"The room was tiny, dirty and stuffy with no AC to help regulate the temperature. We had to pay extra for a bed that I would have assumed came with the room as I booked it for three people. Staff were often not around at the front desk to help, because they were short staffed. Machines in the games room, stopped working (although a discount was offered when this happened). Breakfast was okay. But the restaurant was overpriced and poor quality. We ordered Patas Braves and got and burnt plate...

"A lovely air conditioned room on the hottest day the Netherlands has experienced (over 40 degrees) I made full use of small but welcoming hotel pool and (ironically) the sauna. The hotel also has a small exercise room with bicycles and tread mill. Best of all, however, was the food. Some of the best food I have eaten, the chef should be congratulated. "

"While the owners were very pleasant and the bed was comfortable, the floors in the room were disgusting. Lots of dirt on the floors with areas that were sticky. The bathroom floors were tile and very slippery when exiting the shower. There is no storage in the room for your clothes and the television sits below the bed making it impossible to view. The room could also use a mirror in addition to the small mirror above the bathroom sink. The sheet was dirty but was not changed by housekeeping....

"I tried to alter my booking dates through Expedia's website, was informed by their Bot that it'd all been taken care of. Didn't receive the promised confirmation email so called the hotel to check and it hadn't happened at all. Thank you so much to the guy at the hotel for re-arranging everything so perfectly, otherwise we'd have turned up without a reservation. Next time we'll book with the hotel directly. You find out how good an organisation is when you need them to help you out and Expedia...
