Room was spacious and the location on Kaanapali Beach was ideal for us. We love the area just north of black rock and enjoyed being able to take a short walk to airport beach for awesome snorkeling. Parking situation was also great, plenty of spaces and they are close to the main hotel building. The food at Lahaina Noon was good but overpriced, you are kind of in a food desert here and driving would be required if you had a group or family. We did a lot of walking from the resort to desired locations, a couple of miles each day. Worth taking into consideration when booking. They did not have hospitality accommodations for anyone needing a shower, if flying out later in the evening. We were able to pay for late check out which was great and ended up working perfectly for us.

Kahana Villa is, overall, a decent and solid place to stay on Maui. It’s a great location in west Maui, it’s central to everything like Kaanapali and Kapalua. Kahana Beach is just a few steps away and although it’s small we had a great time there. Kahana Villa is an older property, looks like it may have been built in the’60s or’70s and needs renovation. Our unit was nice- large and had everything we needed. The only bad thing was a large water leak by the lanai door, we had to keep a lot of towels on the floor to soak up the water. The staff, aside from landscaping crew, was nonexistent on the actual property. Check in reception and concierge are across the street at Sands of Kahana and they were fantastic, absolutely friendly, professional, great staff!! Overall I would stay there again due to the affordability but I’d like to check out other properties on Maui before I would stay at Kahana Villa. Oh! The pool and hot tub were perfect!

It is in a great location for whatever we were looking to do. The rooms are nice but the studio one is very tight for a family of 4 but we made it work. Our Murphy beds headboard was completely broken. We also kept finding huge dead cockroaches. Yikes.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Easy walk to a couple local restaurants. Beach front with very good snorkeling on reefs right behind the room.
