"Just stayed overnight. Nice hotel in great location. Only ten minute walk to the lanes or old part of Brighton. We paid for an upgrade to our room and got a larger bed thankfully. The room was nice and clean. Had everything except a fridge. When we first checked in reception was very busy about 9 people waiting for only two staff - they were doing their best. We parked our car in the car park for £24 which was fine but the spaces are very tight for large cars. Had breakfast there which was standard but the pastries and croissants were stale. The coffee machine served cold latte. "

"Excellent hotel, good location, friendly staff. Some parts a little tired, but no different to many of the hotels along the front. They are all large Victorian buildings. It was everything we expected and we weren’t disappointed. It would have been nice if reception could have alerted us before we arrived that there are extensive roadworks going on in front and to the side of the hotel. This meant that we had difficulty locating the car park which is to the rear of the hotel. The only access was down a one way street driving in the wrong direction! Ok if you know the other end is blocked, but this was our first time. "

"Staff was incredibly accomodating which is especially great as we had a 5y old with us. Always nice, rooms are clean and beds are comfy, easy to access as well & parking right in front (paid-for but worth it for a weekend). Train station 1 min walk away, highly recommend!"

"Friendly efficient welcome on check in. Comfortable and very clean rooms. Would have liked biscuits to go with tea and coffee! Didn’t use restaurant so can’t review that. Would return. "

"It’s in the name! A Grand hotel. The best hotel I have stayed in the uk. Greeted by a lovely gentlemen who help with our luggage and was very helpful. We stayed in a junior family suite and the room massive it was also clean, modern with a lovely sea view you can enjoy from your balcony. Breakfast was very nice with lots of options with very friend staff, like the rest of the Grand Team."
