"Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed.
One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...
"The hotel is well placed for the town centre and has a free car park. The reception is unmanned, but the receptionist appeared immediately when I dialled the number on display.
Our room was small but adequate "
"Great stay thank you & amazing breakfast.
My only feed back would be to message customers to check in at the other Hotel across the road. It was confusing walking in & not finding a reception area up or downstairs "
"Shabby chic hotel, which kind of fits into the environment. This was the second time we stayed here as it’s a perfect overnight stop for us. Yes it needs updating, bathroom decor late 70s, early 80s but all in all, good value for money. Hotel is in a great location for walking, cycling and hiking."
"Lovely hotel. Traditional exterior with modern interior touches. Made to feel welcome by genial hosts.
Large bedroom with clean facilities and very comfortable bed.
Nice breakfast with good choice of food on offer."
"Lovely hotel in the centre of town with free parking in the local town centre car park.
Great junior suite.
Food in Olive restaurant was tasty and plentiful.
Breakfast in the cafe was nicely set out and had more options than was expected for continental breakfast.
Would definitely stay there again."
"we booked the property based on the very appealing restaurant pictures. However the restaurant was closed and alternative dining options are very poor. We couldn't even order some hot coffee during the afternoon as all the machines were off. The village is ok(ish) but good luck using your card for paying, it seems they got stuck in 2015 as cash is the only option. The hotel's pool, spa and breakfast were good."
"I can't say enough about Zur Linde. It is a beautiful charming hotel set in the most beautiful area of Germany. The hotel staff is wonderful - Christian who runs the hotel and also is the chef is great and his food is really good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. "
"This is a no-frills hotel in the middle of a charming old village on the German Wine Strasse. Very good value. Room was perfectly clean and bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay there again."

"Beautiful, very clean and neat, affordable (huge suite with 4 beds for an extremely reasonable price), good breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff. The only thing to be aware of it is the layout. We were in their extended portion of the property, across the street, and our room was at the end of a maze of narrow walkways between buildings and a lot of stairs. We were originally going to bring our stroller, but it would have been impossible with the stairway up to the building with our room, the doors, etc. We also had to haul our luggage through all these stairs and windy walkways. For breakfast, we had to walk down a larger flight of stairs, cross a road, and then enter the main building. We are healthy and it was not a problem. But it would have been impossible for someone in a wheel chair or someone with a lot of unruly toddlers."

"Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, however, parking was not clear. I ended up paying 70 Euro for overnight parking and then learned I could have paid 8 Euro. "
