"Immaculate and private. Apple map location was not correct. It is located about 2.5 km on the main highway southwest of Kamiurachoseto which is great but was difficult to find without this info. Well worth the hunt. Best location we have ever stayed in. Will be back!"

"What an amazing way of making the Shimanimi Kaido Route more enjoyable. Don’t ever doubt it and split your route in two days just to enjoy the place. Amazing rooms (it looks great in photos but the rooms are even better once you are there), BEAUTIFUL facilities and onsen with carefully curated design and really helpful staff."

"Stayed here after biking the Shimanami Kaido. Bags were waiting in my room thanks to the same delivery service from Onomichi. Rode straight to the hotel cause it rained for half the route and I got soaked. Reception didn’t bat an eye at my condition and welcomed me graciously and efficiently. Room had signs of wear and tear but was clean and spacious. King sized bed and room for another! Got cleaned up and then returned my bike to Imabari station which, be aware is quite a way in to the city...

"I really loved this retro hotel on top of the mountainside. I had the mysterious looking onsen all to myself several times around 9-10 pm and it was so cool. The view is amazing and the food was very good. Just know that you are really in the countryside and to get to Onomichi it is going to take at least an hour using public transit.
