"The staff at this property are unbelievable. They go out of their way for you. The hotel has pretty much ski in, with access to the chair lift right outside the front door. Personally I rate Hakuba as one of the best snow resorts in the world. Access is fantastic, so much to explore, great snow, cheap & small lift lines (outside of Japanese holidays).

Hakuba is a nice introduction into Japan skiing. I dont think ill go back as a much more authentic variety if mountains exist.

Unlucky season but very easy to move between different mountains. Will be back for a more pow filled season
