Just a 20-minute walk to Pillar Point Harbor, the Miramar Beach Restaurant, or a 15-minute walk to Surfer’s Beach, this home provides easy access to the highlights of the coast.

Great location and base to enjoy local activities, attend events at the Oceano or Maverick’s, or just simply enjoy the restaurants and brew-pubs on the coast.

Our house, in El Granada, California, just 3 miles from downtown Half Moon Bay, is lovingly referred to as "The Nest". It is a spacious and inviting upper-level home that offers a relaxing coastal escape and ocean views. The property features three well-appointed bedrooms, each with a comfortable king-sized bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Additionally, there are two full bathrooms, one of which includes a bathtub for your relaxation.

Inside, you'll find a stylish and beachy ambiance, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home. The living space is warm and welcoming, and includes a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals with ease. The convenience of a washer and dryer is also at your disposal, allowing you to pack light for your stay.

For outdoor enjoyment, our property boasts an outdoor entertaining area, where you can make a meal on the grill, sit & relax, and relish in the refreshing ocean breeze, and enjoy the propane firepit on cool evenings. This space is perfect for gatherings with family and friends, creating memorable moments during your stay.

The Nest is comfortable walking distance to Pillar Point Harbor, and Miramar, with a roughly 20-minute walk to both. Less than a 15-minute walk to Surfer’s Beach and the locally favorite Spangler’s Market make this location an ideal spot. A perfect home to access all the area has to offer, including the Coastal Trail, restaurants, kayaking, weddings, or just soaking in the coastal vibes. It's an ideal retreat for those looking to unwind by the coast and enjoy the beauty of this charming coastal neighborhood.

Please be aware that our property has another unit on the lower level, which is completely separate and not accessible to our guests. It's possible that the lower unit may be occupied by other guests or the property owners. For your added comfort, we provide a washer and dryer conveniently located in the garage. To access these facilities, simply use the door to the left of the hallway bathroom and go down the stairs. Please note that the lower unit does not have access to the laundry machines, ensuring your privacy and convenience.

While we respect your privacy, we want to ensure that our property is in top-notch condition for all guests. Therefore, our dedicated house cleaner may use the laundry machines if she is cleaning the lower unit. She will access this. area using a garage door opener. Rest assured, this won't impact your access or convenience during your stay. Your comfort and needs are our priority, and we want to make your visit as hassle-free as possible.

Q: Do you allow early check-in or late check-out?
A: We do our best to accommodate reasonable requests. However, if there is a guest checking in or out on the same day as you we need to allow enough time for our cleaning team to do their complete cleaning protocol.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Nest! It was an updated and very clean property. We were three adults staying there, and we enjoyed our evenings by the fire pit or just relaxing in the comfortable living room. We didn’t do much cooking due to family gatherings in HMB. Still, the kitchen was well equipped and very clean. We took morning walks on the beach (about 10 min walking from the house). We hope to be back to enjoy another stay on the coast.
