"For us, looking for somewhere relatively quite but still within easy walking reach to the beach and to local restaurants, this villa and location hit the spot perfectly. Hermione Villa was a great find. It is spacious, well furnished, clean and has a great outdoor area with pool, plenty of outdoor seating and tables. It has its own built in BBQ. The villa itself was in a relatively quiet location. The beach is about a ten minute walk away and is very quiet. Perfect for swimming. The small town centre is also a short 10 minute walk away with some excellent restaurants to choose from. All in it was everything that we hoped for and more. "

"The check in was quite easy, but the receptionist barely knew English which was abit of a langauge barrier. Which meant we didn't know where the meals were serviced or we had to get towels from them for the pool or beach etc. The room was decent, a bit of the shower was broken but apart from that was alright, the door only had a door lock so we had the cleaning crew walk into the room in the morning when we were sleeping twice. They need to invest in additional locks. Food was abit repetitive sometimes there was a change up which was not major but was like average for an all inclusive. Has about 2 big pools and 1 kids pool that needs a refurb as it looks very dirty when it's the paint on the inside making it look worse than it is. Pool times could be extended further as it is only for an 8 hour range. The Beach was nice, one of the main attractions but could use more beach chairs as there was less than 25 probably. The bar was decent, the male bartender was great and efficient with his service and was always welcoming. Cannot say the same for the female bartender who was quite rude and stuck up. They had some odd combinations for drinks like pineapple juice in the sex and the beach drink which is not normal. Not much of a snack bar, food was hard and not much of a choice. The receptionist during the morning was very helpful and we got our late checkout sorted as we had a late flight back. If they did a refurb we would consider coming back. But may explore other options. "

"We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was perfect, it is set on a hillside just above Kiotari but close to the local restaurants, and shops. A car is needed, you can walk from the villa but if it’s hot the walk back up to the villa isnt the best. The villa has everything you need and the pool is a good size. Set on the hillside there was often a welcome breeze. Maria was very helpful providing lots of useful local recommendations for restaurants. We went to the bakery in Gennadi every morning to get croissants and pain au chocolates and sit with a coffee watching the locals go about their morning, Such a relaxing holiday. Beaches are stoney but not crowded and at times you felt like you had the beach to yourself. "

An Impressive Beachfront Luxury Retreat with Private Beach

Lovely villa in stunning location

"The location of Villa Liam is perfect. The stunning sea views and pool were picture postcard perfect. It is only 20 mins from the airport and within 5-10 mins drive of wonderful restaurants and a supermarket offering the essentials. Inside the villa is well equipped and all the en-suite bedrooms are functional. There is a ground floor bedroom which was perfect for our elderly parents. A few very small additions would have made the stay a bit more convenient/ comfortable: a) a small welcome pack of basic provisions to get started. We arrived at the villa around 9.30pm after a very long day of travelling. Basic tea, coffee, milk would have been very appreciated. b) Other than utensils, cutlery and crockery, the kitchen was bare. Salt, pepper, herbs etc would be basic things to include with self catering accommodation. c) Bathrooms only had an all in one shampoo/body wash. Hand soap was only provided in the kitchen. I would class Villa Liam as premium, both in terms of the accommodation and the pricing, therefore these are little suggestions to improve the basic offering. However none of these stopped us having a wonderful week with family in the most stunning of settings. "

"This is a tough review to write. A mix of good and bad. We didn't get off to a great start. We and 2 other couples arrived by ferry. walked to the property, and then waited about 40 mins to check in and weren't offered air conditioned room or a cold drink while we waited. the owner had something else (private) he needed to do, and it didn't occur to him to leave keys or instructions for us. Once we eventually checked in, he tried hard to be helpful. One of the reasons we booked was because it had a washing machine in the room. (unfortunately not allowed to use it). owner did do washing for us, but not very convenient. he tried to make amends. rubbish collected daily, but they did leave doors and windows unlocked. The location to the port/restuarants/beach is superb, and supermarkets and bakery very close. A great place to stay if the owner is having a good day."
