Fantastic hotel, interesting building.
Fantastic hotel, right next to St. Pauli football stadium. Really interesting building full of history, great coffee shop on site and restaurant looked good but we didn’t use. Rock shop on site but closed on Sundays so didn’t visit. Great rooms with comfortable bed and fantastic shower (with nice toiletries including separate shampoo and conditioner). Good space in room even basic room. Quiet room, couldn’t hear the football fans at the stadium when in the hotel/room. Walkable to the Reeperbahn and docks area (gentle 20 minutes, approx). Highly recommended hotel!

This new and unusual hotel is located in a lively part of the city and made our first visit to Hamburg very special. The building is extraordinary. Finding the building is easy, finding the entrance to the hotel is difficult. The entrance is similar to that of an inner city car park, it’s hidden round the back, no signage to speak of and no lighting at night which is unacceptable. The hotel is the new (top) part of the building and enjoys access to the public walkway (which was very crowded when we visited). The hotel has no communal space such as a lobby so is rather impersonal, there is open space on the same level as the check in desk, coffee shop, souvenir shop and the bar but this will be pretty cold in the winter. The rooms are designed to reflect the nature of the urban location and our room was decorated with street art. Our room was very comfortable with great views of the city and windows that open wide. Our room had a lot of design features including mood lighting but it was impractical in other ways, limited space and virtually no storage. We would have liked more information about the hotel and the features in our room (we never figured out how to operate the ‘intuitive’ thermostat or access Alexa). The hotel is new and still going through the ‘snagging’ phase, but that didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves and the extraordinary location. All the staff we came into contact were very friendly and helpful and we would happily return.

I have a lot to say but I think a pro con list will sum it up Pro 1. Very clean 2. Beautiful view, our room was on the 3rd floor and had a double balcony that was a nice bonus. 3. Convenient to public transport 4. Comfortable rooms 5. Check in was super easy and straight forward 6. The bar was way over priced for the area 7. If you want an authentic Hamburg experience this is the area, it seemed to be away from anything tourist related, and a lot of shops/ bars didn’t speak much English which was cool Cons 1. Terrible signage, kind of difficult to find the entrance of the actual hotel. Can’t miss the building. Coming off the u-Bahn it’s obvious where the building is but the entrance is tucked away and there’s not signs on the side you walk up to from the u-Bahn. 2. Most everything is closed by 10pm, and despite advertising there was no grab and go (not counting the 3 weird craft sodas for €4) 3. No real amenities at all, if they existed they were not advertised by staff at check in. 4. The building is a public building, and while obviously they have taken steps for security it was very surprising to look out your window and see people walking past it, to the point you can’t open your window or open the curtains at all during the day if you are in the rooms on the 100 floor according to friends who were also staying at this hotel at the same time as us. 5. As of July 2024, the hotel still wasn’t complete and it was obvious but hopefully they will work out some kinks

A hidden gem of hotels
The hotel was clean, very modern and of course at a great location. Only downside is the instructions to get to the hotel. We were a bit confused getting around since the locations is a tourist attraction. We were lucky we booked this hotel at this time because I truly think it’s going to be a huge hit in this town. At night, it’s a little dark to get to the hotel from the street.

Area around the hotel is a little sketchy. They don’t have daily room servicing nor a phone to call downstairs. We went down to ask for more towels and were told they’d be brought up and they never arrived.

Property is still under construction to fully open. Rooms are still not finished and they are allowing guests to stay in the hotel under these circumstances which is completely unacceptable. There was no warning . Drills and hammers at 8 am. Missing irons and room amenities. Will be a nice hotel when it fully finished. Very disappointing

Ein wirklich einzigartiges Hotelerlebnis. Fußläufig bei vielen Hotspots wie Landungsbrücken oder Reeperbahn. Ansonsten direkt nebenan Metro. Zimmer und vor allem die Aussicht sind MEGA. Muss man echt mal gesehen haben. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank....

Ein sehr cooles Hotel oben auf dem "Bunker" auf St. Pauli. Alleine wegen dieses Gebäudes und der Aussichtsplattformen habe ich das Hotel gebucht und war sehr zufrieden, auch wenn das Frühstücksbuffet schon teuer ist. Was ich nur schade finde: Außerdem RockShop merkt man leider so gar nicht, dass HardRock am Hotel beteiligt ist. Keine Memorabilia, keine Musik in Hotel oder Lobby, keine Fernseher mit Musiksendern, absolut nichts was ich mit "Hard Rock" in Verbindung bringen würde. Schade!

Ich reise sehr viel und habe noch nie eine schlechte Bewertung geschrieben, aber irgendwann ist scheinbar immer das erste Mal. Insgesamt war ich doch sehr enttäuscht. Postiv: Lage Nachhaltige Becher an der Kaffeemaschine Das grundsätzliche Konzept (wenn alles funktionieren würde) Negativ: - Das gesamte Lichtkonzept ist schon schräg. Es gibt für mehr oder weniger 3 Räume (Flur, Wohnzimmmer, Schlafbereich) nur einen Lichtschalter, der nicht mal dimmbar ist. Man kann sich also zwischen Dunkelheit und Stadionbeleuchtung entscheiden, sehr ungemütlich - 1 von 2 Nachttischlampen war kaputt - Alexa Sprachsteuerung hat nicht funktioniert (es konnte nur das Wetter angezeigt werden) - Das Telefon ging, aber beim Anruf in der Rezeption ging niemand ran - Die Fernbedienung für die gesonderte Wandleuchte war ebenfalls kaputt - Es gab leider keine Gläser zu den Wasserflaschen, also musste man aus den Flaschen trinken - Bei der Klimaanlage konnte man keine Gradzahl einstellen, nur sich zwischen -3 und 3 entscheiden - Insgesamt gab es auch keinerlei Anleitung für die technischen Geräte - SmartTV ließ sich mit keinem iPhone verbinden, so dass man nur Live TV schauen konnte (keine Möglichkeit für Netflix, Amazon Prime usw.), nur BT-Verbindung für Spotify möglich - Sehr hellhörig (Über uns konnten wir alles hören) - Durch die Pflanzen war keine Sicht da, nicht mal ein kleines Loch keine Möbel (Was soll dann ein Balkon?) Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (bei der Suite) war inakzeptabel.
