Enjoyed our stay, particularly liked the great wifi, air con and roof top bar. All staff were very friendly and helpful, especially reception staff who allowed us to check in early. Bed was large and comfortable and shower was hot and powerful. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. Didnt hear any noise except the fire alarm going off at just past midnight which meant we had to leave our room and stand outside in our nightclothes for about 20 mins. Room was described by Expedia as Classic which actually equated to an extremely small room and bathroom descibed as Tiny on the hotel's website. Room would have been perfect for one adult but was cramped for 2 adults, especially a male over 6ft tall. Not a lot of restaurants or bars nearby and 15 min walk from main train station was a bit seedy as it passed nearby a compound for homeless and adults with addictions. We were approached by one of these individuals one evening as we walked back to our hotel via the steps on the way to the hotel from the train station. Hotel seemed to be geared to the younger market but we still enjoyed our stay.

The staff at this property were absolutely AMAZING!!. Very caring and attentive to our needs. Short walk to main train station and many restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

The only problem was that finding reception was VERY difficult. The door has no signage, and the apartments are accessed by a different door. Once we found the way everything was very nice.

The Facility itself was excellent as it is a new hotel but had a modern urban feeling to it. The staff from the front desk, breakfast and the Rooftop Bar were extremely friendly and spoke English which was a big help. The Train Station was convenient nearby and walkable. The rooms were super cleans, spacious for European standards. The only negative and it is not the hotels fault as there are several nice hotels around is that there is some vagrancy of people loitering but not near the hotel a few blocks away as you pass to the station. However my son and I did not encounter any problems. We walked from the hotel to the station at 5am to catch the train to airport and it was quiet. I would definitely stay here again as the rates were competitive and bar at the roof top was convenient to have some late drinks.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Villa Viva Hotel in Hamburg! From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home. The rooms are impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with every modern convenience. The hotel's location is perfect, nestled in a charming neighborhood with easy access to Hamburg's major attractions. The breakfast spread is a delightful start to the day, offering a variety of delicious options. I highly recommend Villa Viva for anyone seeking a blend of luxury and comfort in Hamburg. We will definitely be returning!

The rooftop bar and view is a bonus to this accommodation. I found the bed to be super comfy but my husband found it too hard. Location was also convenient to the Elbphilharmonie. Attended a memorable performance by Florián Christl and ensemble, followed by great food at the restaurant. All near the hotel.

Richtig tolles neues soziales Hotel. Fussläufig in 5-10 min. zum Hbf (falls man sich als Frau alleine unsicher fühlt, am besten nicht den Weg am Museum entlang nehmen, sondern an der Markthalle vorbei). Dass es keinen TV im Zimmer gab fand ich super, dafür einen richtig guten Bluetooth Lautsprecher. Großes Bad mit Shampoo/Seife, bequeme Betten, zwei Kopfkissengrössen, nettes Personal und insgesamt cooles Design im ganzen Haus. Es war sehr ruhig, es ist selten, dass ich in einem Hotel ohne Oropax schlafen kann. Die Dachterasse und Bar sind toll mit schönem Blick über Hamburg. Einen Handtuchwechsel nach 2 Tagen brauche ich persönlich nicht, wenn ich nur 4 Tage im Hotel bin. Kann man aber bestimmt nächstes mal kommunizieren. Viele Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Ich bin selten traurig wenn es wieder nach Hause geht, aber diesmal war ich es und komme gerne wieder!
