Balcony and location was great. Badly stained bath towels, mildew on shower curtain and fridge water container, visible dust wads throughout (fun surprise turning on a lamp), and floors that made my feet dirty gave me the ick though.

I wanna go back!
If you're driving the Road to Hana, do yourself a favor and spend the night! And this is the perfect place to do that. Great accommodations, view of the beach, quiet little town, comfortable bed! Then drive back the next day. You owe it to yourself.

Quiet getaway
I stayed at this Hana Condo for 2 nights during my time in Maui. It was a great location and extremely convenient as a place to rest after a long drive. The day bed on the balcony was a perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again in a heartbeat!

The bed and balcony were wonderful for relaxing, the kitchen is quite small but well stocked with kitchenware, the bathroom was a little on the rustic side and partially unfinished, but we were only there for 1 night so didn't mind.

The view was spectacular and loved the contactless check in. Secluded place on a quiet street with quiet neighbors. A true retreat. Artwork on the walls was wonderful and thoughtful for the setting, also dove into both books in the room as we traversed hana and pointed out with amazement when we could identify a plant!

Lovely, too short stay in Hana
Loved our stay here- very clean and relaxed, beautiful view from the Lanai, and really loved the day bed for sitting out there. Appreciated the electric tea kettle (as tea drinkers) and just a very nice spot- very convenient and a lovely oasis after a day of adventuring. Lots of amenities on site that we did not have time to avail ourselves of, but would love to return. Thank you.

Property was clean and attractive. Some minor cosmetic things to update/fix but nothing to impact the vacation negatively. The location was lovely and convenient. The very short walk to the black sand beach was a fantastic sunrise! You can hear your neighbors a little more than I'd have liked. We loved our stay and would love to return!

Beautiful View, Well Appointed, Great Location
The unit is “as advertised.” It was an easy check-in with access code. Comfy bed, kitchen had what we needed. Loved the note that informed us that the water from the tap is filtered. The view is incredible, the grounds are well manicured. Love the koi ponds and the stroll on the beach. This is my 2nd stay at Hana Kai (the 1st was in 2015). We will stay again when the opportunity arises:). Thank you!

Nice unit with a great view! Just a 3 minute walk to the ocean and a nice grassy sitting area next to it. This is a great unit for a couple! A little communication problem for the set-up prior to arrival of four people but we made use of the daybed on the lanai which turned out to be nice sleeping with the sounds of the ocean. We even managed to stay dry despite the at times heavy rain.

Beautiful condo and oceanfront property. Enjoyed the stay here but there was zero communication prior to check in. When I arrived I had no idea how to access the unit. It was after hours but fortunately I was able to access the Expedia app which provided the code to open the door to the unit.

View from the property was amazing! The porch seating is great and very enjoyable! There is no AC which for just a night stay was OK. Appliances are worn out and there is no code maker. There is jus a french press French however there is no coffee. For the nightly rate charge, the place needs some upgrades.
