Hidden Gem
Not where i normally stay in Hangzhou, as it's a bit far from where my meetings take place, but i wanted to try a hotel near the lake this time as i had a bit of free time. This little spot is an absolute gem, with some of the best service i've experienced in China. It reminds me of a Bali style boutique hotel, with a beautiful little courtyard to relax and have coffee/tea. The included breakfast was local style and quite nice. When i checked out i left my Mac computer charger. I reached out to the hotel and they were kind enough to arrange for it to be shipped to the hotel i would be checking in to 2 days later. They did this without hesitation and with a smile. If you're looking for a nice place to relax and explore West Lake while in Hangzhou, this is the spot.

Convenient location to the nearby West lake and sightseeing points.Good eating and shopping places around.Staff are friendly and helpful.Less than an hour by taxi from the airport.Right next to some hiking trails for exploring.Special and quiet atmosphere in the courtyard.
