"A beautiful secluded area that is peaceful and quiet. Truly a log cabin experience without all the modern day distractions. Cabin was clean and tidy and beds were comfy. Kids had a blast playing hide and seek around the property. My only complaints about our stay, which truly weren’t a huge deal were hot water ran out quickly, so we had to wait for water to warm between showers and not many cleaning supplies available for cleanup during stay/prior to checking out."

"Communications with Host were excellent. Home was clean and well lit. Starlink WIFI was greatly appreciated. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, on propane grill, and making smores in the campfire ring. Elk herd walking past front of the house was a highlight!!"

"We stayed here in mid August 2025. Everything was clean and orderly with all the necessities for cooking and meals in the kitchen. Beds were comfy, along with clean and comfortable bedding. Had the pleasure of seeing a herd of elk come up quite close. Would definitely recommend this property for a fun family get together. "

"Just what the doctor ordered! We spent 9 very peaceful and relaxing nights here (originally booked for 7, but we just had to add two more peaceful nights). The property was very secluded and tucked away across a large open meadow from other nearby ranch style homes. The place essentially served as home base for many outdoor adventure trips throughout the surrounding area, which we highly recommend anyone who stays to definitely explore the entire area.The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for a family of four and the host was exceptionally great with communications. Highlights included the daily afternoon rain showers, the multitude of hummingbirds visiting the feeders on the back porch, the Blue River Forest Service road, trips into the quaint town of Alpine and nearby Luna Lake, the entire White Mountain wilderness area, the Black River, Big Lake and one of our favorites (had lunch at Hannagan's Meadow lodge only about 25 mins away!Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!"
